This is a handy fold-out brochure which fits easily in the binoculars bag. The illustrations are well-done and give you a quick overlook of the common Texas species. Highly recommended for times that you do not want to flip through the pages of your field book.

Of course, as you see in the title, I was set out to do a school project for my granddaughter. I bought this on Amazon for her project. She lives in California and I live in Texas. They wanted to know more about the wildlife out here so I chose birds. the teacher loved the pamphlet. All the kids were gathered around and checked it out and then she mounted it on the wall. Thank you so much for helping with this project.

Love that this pocket guide is very durable for traveling. Have one for our birds in Tennessee and planning to give this one to our grand daughter so she can use it to spot the birds in her area.

While this is not the whole thing, it's a good way to start figuring out who's at the birdfeeder. The colors and descriptions are accurate and I have ID'd about 5 species, so far.
