It borders on cliché, but the Nike Blazer really might be the definitive Nike shoe — a perfect palette for the Swoosh, fat belly or otherwise. This ankle-high 1973 masterpiece changed the game and aided in taking the court share from rival manufacturers. This mid-cut version's melon crush colourway and material picks make it interesting. It took a while, but the Blazer seems to be blowing up beyond a core band of fanatics after a decade of retros.
