Great build! Not too big and has large adjustable storage space. It's pretty heavy to move around, but that makes sense since it a large movable storage item. It has breaks on the bottom two wheels which I've tested to see how hard it becomes to push around, and trust me, those wheels ain't budging. That's a good thing. I love how it has the cutting board hardwood varnished top which makes it look more durable and polished. It was an awesome towel rack and a little spice/utensil compartment on either side which is good for storage as well. I chose the all black look just because the furniture in my apartment is already black and my floor are a light color gray. The assembly was absolutely rough since it only showed pictures and I feel some parts needed more clarification on what to do with certain things. At one point I had to makeshift a hole that didn't align with the drawer bracket. Luckily, I had a drill bit to make one and screw it in where it needed to be. Worked on it myself and took roughly 10 hours to do just because some of the unpowered pretty unclear at parts and I had to redo those sections that were difficult to understand from square one again. Other than that it came out so good! No damages noted upon arrival and shipped super fast since I live in Hawaii, which is very rare for us over here. Love it so far!

Although there were a couple of times it would have been nice to have an extra set of hands, I managed to put the cart together by myself in a few hours. The parts were clearly labeled and I found the instructions easy to follow. Once or twice I used my rubber mallet to persuade the pieces into place but all in all, building was pretty drama free. I did not install the holder or handle bar on either end. I dropped one of the end pieces and scuffed up the finish. My solution was to add white and gold peel and stick wallpaper to the sides which worked out well. I used different knobs than what came with the cart which coordinate with the wallpaper. The cart wheels run very smoothly; I can move the whole thing with barely a push using one hand. The drawers slide well. Overall I'm pleased.

This was purchased to give us extra counter space when entertaining and prepping food for large groups of people. It took about 4 hours to assemble from start to finish and we chose not to add the towel bar or handle on the side of the island. The top was slightly dented but not worth sending the entire island back once unpacked. (It stated you needed to return the item in the original box which is very large and heavy/cumbersome when fully packaged.) The back of the cabinet and bottom of the drawers are pressed cardboard covered with a black vinyl coating yet have supports that keep them firm. These two issues led to my 4 star review. The shelves in the lower part of the island have much sturdier boards and can hold heavier items (approx 35-40 pounds), although this is not something I would recommend doing. If you want something that is inexpensive and doesn’t look super cheap this should fit the bill.

Wheels broke. Huge inconvenience. No way to fix it… what a waste. Looks pretty but Wood quality is terrible. Only had baking materials -plastic fondant tools and cookie cutters as well inside so not even heavy.

I like the extra storage and counter top of this island, but if someone says that it was easy to put together, they probably have a degree from MIT!

Easy to put together if you have your own tools. Took about 3-4 hours.
