Very good camera for the price.
Cons: One of the 2 cameras I ordered came with buttons missing off of the unit, though they were found in the packaging. Both cameras start out in Chinese. Thankfully changing the language was not difficult. No USB, no SD/TF reader. Low light conditions gives the video output a disturbing "AI hallucination" effect. I much prefer the regular grainy sensor image effect. Pros: HDMI and VGA output. Full 1080p resolution, included bright ring light, good microscope optic, fast and responsive camera menu, included spacer ring allows for squeezing just a bit of extra range out of the included lens. Working distance is great. The included swing arm is quite sturdy, though maybe a tad much, but that just results in faster image stabilization when you move the camera and tighten it back down. No video, as I need to acquire an HDMI to USB dongle for video capture, but rest assured, I have a different (but similar) C-mount microscope, and outside of the cons of this one, this one ends up being IMHO a cheaper and excellent alternative to my other one, if you do not require onboard image and video capture, or a direct USB connection (my other microscope's USB connection only allows for 5FPS at 1080p. Yuck!) Just a tiny bit more focus on QC (for the buttons) and perhaps make a slightly larger camera that can accommodate SD card and a USB connection for those that want it, and this would be a killer camera.

I was surprised, but the thing actually works!!
When I first looked at this system after receiving it, I was extremely annoyed that the provided instructions were minimal to the extreme. Once hooked up and powered up, the labels/instructions are in Chinese. I did get the thing powered up, but to repeat, there is essentially no documentation included. Picture on the TV is clear and sharp, so I guess this is a reasonable purchase.

Makes you feel professional Lol
Beginner electronics repair guy. This so far is a good first camera for me to accomplish my goals, possible informational videos in the future. HMDI connection works great, haven’t tried VGA nor will I. I plan to get a nicer camera down the line but I think this was a smart buy.

Great microscope for the money
This is the first microscope I have purchased for my electronic repair hobby projects. I'm amazed by the quilty of the camera the zoom feature it has. I can see all the smd capitors and ic chips that need to be micro soldered now. Trying to see all the hdmi pins that you can't see without the microscope and led ring light was nearly impossible. All the things you get for less than $90 is amazing. People say the tilting arm is bad but I didn't have a problem with mine, it holds in place were I need to to go just have to make sure you tighten the screw the holds the camera on. With this only being a 13mp camera is amazing would recommend to any hobbyist.

A must for trace work!
I've always used a magnifying glass led light with my board work, which is great for quick work. However, when working traces, surface mount ICs, and other tiny work, this is the machine that you want. The mount is very versatile and clamps to any table. From there you can put the scope anywhere you want, and it'll stay that way. I'm using a laptop to display the image which is a perfect size for the work I do. The LED lights are very bright and blast away any shadows. Best yet, you can screen shot your work and look at it in detail without even being at the table. Highly Recommended!
