Waxy Cover
I have ordered several brands of blank books online for my son to make his own. His favorite part is designing the cover. These books have a sheen/wax on the cover that makes even permanent marker wipe right off. if you are looking to color/draw your own cover, this is not the product you want.

Quality
These are very sturdy & very cool hard bound blank books. My 7 year olds expressed interest in co-writing & co-illustrating books together to sell. Aside from the captain underpants book they plagiarized, i think they have a real shot at this ;) The pages can be used with markers, pencil, and crayons and are 100% blank and ready for your little one’s creativity. The book and its pages are of good quality. Only con is that it took 3 weeks to arrive.

Binding poorly made and pages fall out with day of first use.
The concept is great. My son LOVED these books but 3 of the six came apart on the first use while he was drawing his illustrations. The stitching for the binding unraveled and the pages fell out. He was so upset to see his masterpiece fall apart.

Exactly what I wanted!
This was perfect for what I needed. The pages are heavy stock which means that paint and markers don't bleed through. It has just enough pages for what I needed in my Bible study. These books are well made and worth every penny.

The spine unwound
The spine unwound and the pages fell out, to the students’ disappointment.

Unbound
I ordered these books for a group of elementary students to publish their stories. At least five of the books became unbound and were falling apart. Very disappointing.
