Battery Life or lack of!
Within 3 months battery charge is only lasting 7 minutes. I have a small house and live alone so I don’t use this more than once a week. What a waste on $$$$. I give this products battery life a minus ratings.Don’t waste your money on this.

Is it me? Or safety protocols?
I’m not sure if the issue is changing this battery or possibly a fault with the spring in the handle. I was hoping the battery was responsible for my Dyson not behaving normally. I swapped out the battery and attempted to ‘fix’ the trigger. Unfortunately the trigger is more work than you can possibly imagine, comes with zero instructions and basically requires you to take the entire apparatus apart. Seriously. The battery is such an easy swap and matches the OEM sizing. Clicks right in, all the data tells me that it is comparable to the OEM in every way so I needn’t worry about charging incompatibility. Welp, after getting eighty percent done on the trigger, I came to an obstacle that I felt like I wouldn’t be able to rectify so I put everything back as it was and instead moved forward with exchanging the battery. Easy peasy. Appears to be of good quality and value. The issue is, now when I turn on my beloved, the trigger is … like when your brakes are going out and they don’t engage until they nearly hit the floor. As if that’s not bad enough, after releasing the trigger (to move random things ect.) she won’t turn on again and needs to be placed back on the charger. So, did I over expand the spring in the trigger? Absolutely. That’s clear by engagement only happening with a very full press. But is that also provoking refusal to continue on after trigger release requiring docking? To that I am not sure. I need to do some more troubleshooting to further isolate the issue. However it doesn’t seem likely that the trigger would need to be reset with the docking station lock. But that could be a safety mechanism that I just so happen to be bypassing also. I’ll update if I find out more.
