Nothing is better than chocolate and peanut butter, and as my husband is a huge fan of dark chocolate we knew we had to try this peanut butter out. It did not disappoint. It's a rich peanut butter, not smooth, but great for a treat, I like eating it like a dip with pretzels, but my husband likes putting it on toast.

I have to kind of laugh at myself because I sometimes wonder why I simply don't just use peanuts instead of bothering with peanut butter. I've even added chopped peanuts to other chunky peanut butters I've purchased. (again, I could just sprinkle them on top afterwards!)I've been wanting to try this for a while, but it's expensive. Considering I can get a very good chunky peanut butter at the grocery that I think is equally of good quality, and it is a third of the price. It's occurring to me right now that I think I like that brand better. However, if Fix & Fogg were on my grocery shelf at a lower price, I'd be buying more of it. As is it doesn't rise high enough to justify the extra expense.It's good, it's chunky, very, very chunky, but the flavor is mild for peanuts. I add a bit of salt often (bad me, but I don't care).The product arrived in perfect condition, required a lot of stirring, and satisfied my desire for chunky peanut butter. I bought this on sale during the prime day sale, but I won't repeat for the reasons above. Still good, but not for the price.

****Updated Review****after having ordered a few jars of this miracle elixir, I left it slide for almost a year,Some of had been hit or miss.. I got one jar that was a hard clump in the jar, and it took a knifeand some hard mixing to get it worked so it was spreadable,others have been a goopy mess.. seems to have been some consistency issues..But I just got another jar and after it sat in my mailbox for the better part of a 90 degree day,this latest jar was a goopy mess, stirred real good, let it cool overnight in the house on the counter.and then stirred again in the morning and put it on my toast.. Hello Sweetheart! I missed you.. lolit is still good stuff!I was "surfing" Amazon and discovered this Peanut Butter with Dark Chocolate and decided I had to try it..Once it arrived I opened the box, it was packed well, and the jar was in its own tube..once I opened the jar, took a spoon and tasted it.. it was a hmm.. what a minute..it is a crunchy spread which I like.. it seems not to be sweet as Jif or Skippy.. but that's because there is no sugar..it also seemed to be a little dry at first taste,there was no oil floating to the top, but I stirred it anyway.. and tasted again.. it still a little dry to the taste, but good!but my wife who also tried it, liked it.. it is good stuff..Although nothing says to refrigerate, I put my jar in the fridge.. bad idea.. it hardens too much and cannotbe used as a spread.. so it's back on the counter..I have to say that my wife and be both like it.. and I look forward to putting it on my toast..and having an occasional spoon of it..and I will be buying it again....

The flavor and two ingredients are fantastic. What is not fantastic is the consistency of the peanut butter. First, you have to jab an object into the hard glop of peanut butter and stir with every arm muscle and amount of energy you have. Stir, stir, stir. When you’re done, you have to stir some more. All of the oil settles on top, and you have to work that in into a hardened glob of peanut butter. Once you do, you have burned 600 calories, and then, the consistency is very thin. You can pretty much pour the peanut butter onto whatever you are eating. But, the work, imho, is worth it for great tasting peanut (albeit a bit soupy) butter.

I’m starting with the less positives but read through please.So I did not really expect this peanut butter to be as spicy as it is. Wowza!! I don’t really taste the smoke either which was mildly disappointing. And when i opened the jar it was really a mess. It had separated so much and took me about 30 minutes of gentle swirling to get it back to a workable consistency but it’s still too thin for bread — at least by my standards. I’m chalking that up to 2+ WEEKS to get to get to its final destination in Eastern Africa. There’s a lot of logistics issues and exposure to extreme temps which probably were not anticipated by the FF team.Ok here’s the great news… while it was too spicy and runny for me to eat conventionally, it made the BEST peanut butter cookies!! OMG. Incredible cookies with just enough spice to get you in the back of your throat. Everyone loves the cookies, so interesting and unique… new fave for sure!! I already ordered 2 more jars for cookie baking!

Really not impressed for a $15 jar. I actually had bought another brand off Amazon for $2 less a week ago and it was super thick and good and I ate it all pretty fast but it barely had any reviews …this brand had lots of reviews so I figured hmm I’ll try it bc of the picture they showed but when I got it it was basically runny and I’ve mixed it all up (still runny). I won’t buy it again. Also not as sweet as I’d like it to be ☹️Update on review…made my stomach hurt both times I ate some and burp a lot. I’m f course I can’t return it, I’m annoyed I spent 15 bucks on this.I’m adding a pic of the dark chocolate peanut butter from Saratoga Peanut Butter Company bc it is amazing and taste way better and better is a couple dollars cheaper on Amazon…. Just saying people it’s better.

I am a bit of a peanut butter freak and was super skeptical of spending $15 for this but it was well worth it. You can also order this for cheaper off of their regular website if the price really scares you but then you have to wait for it to come where with Amazon it comes right away. Regardless, the flavor was AWESOME and exactly what I was looking for - not sweet, thick texture and a decent kick!!

Great tasting PB that is not overly sweet and packs a crunch.There is often a layer of oil due to the lack of emulsifiers and additives like partially hydrogenated vegetable oil.DO NOT BE ALARMED, its a good sign. Just stir well before applying it to toast or whatever you have in mind.

It taste peanut butter.

My prefer crunchy peanut spread. Nutty. Just need to stir(need effort) before use. Just tasty to my breakfast.

Yes it was very crunchy. But I added a touch of salt to perk it up.

Tasted better than Adam's!
