So far so good, this is the first time I've used an air purifier/filter. It kicks on by itself, and seems to filter out everything pretty easily. It has multiple fan speeds, including an auto setting that will turn the unit on whenever it senses dirty air. Filters are easy to change, simply turn unit off, unplug it, and turn it over and unscrew the base, pull out the old filter and slide the new one in and back in business. It has easy to clean pre-filters on the external sides of the unit that you pull out and wash and put back in.

love it so far, quite and the fact i can clean the pre filter is nice. lets see how this referbished unit lasts, but did get the warrenty, still less than buying new,easy set up, a large unit, not noisey at all.

I didn’t think it would work this well, but it’s been great. I see people say it stays at 100, but that’s not true. If you burn a candle or even cook some food then it will go down. It takes maybe an hour to go back up to 100 after you blow the candle out or finish cooking. I would buy this again for sure.

I run the unit on medium 24/7 and still find dust settling on surfaces about the same as before I had the unit. This hasn't been the case.Overall:While the Shark Air Purifier has some positive aspects, such as its design, noise level, and the feeling of improved air quality, I'm somewhat disappointed with its dust filtration capabilities. The fact that I purchased a renewed unit at a discounted price makes it an acceptable purchase, but someone paying full price might have higher expectations, especially when it comes to dust control.

I prefer to keep it on auto, but after a while it will give me an error reading or tell me to check the filters. I am constantly checking and cleaning the filters every month. I have tried to trouble shoot only for the website to tell me to call customer service. It is very unfortunate that such an expensive air purifier has so many problems functioning.

Purchased this item to deal with allergies, it made a difference! I was hesitant to purchase a refurbished/renewed unit but it appears to perform very well.

While I rarely write reviews I’m going to on this one. This is a refurbished unit, I knew that when I was purchasing it. What I didn’t realize is that checking elsewhere would have saved me money and I would have gotten a better unit with a remote for about the same price. The unit itself works well. There is a smoker in the household, the main reason for this purchase, and it scrubs the air adequately. It takes awhile for it to work, that’s normal. The odor neutralizer helps in this area, that’s a cartridge that inserts in the top. It is very quiet on the low setting but does have a white noise effect on the higher settings. The model is some what large but works fine in the corner with adequate air flow. It has a sleep timer that I use at night. Overall it’s been a few weeks and it’s a good product.
