the run time is good. If i had to guess the max output ...
I have used a pair of these for 3-4 days now. This is similar to their tail lights, just have different color plastic. This one is clear, rear is red. so by changing the tint of the plastic they remarket as front light. they both suffers the same issues. First the rubber backing will tend to fall off, so if you are unmounting the light at night, get ready to drop the rubber piece on the ground. The rubber mounts provide flexible mounting, but longevity of the rubber is in question, yet to be seen. The charging is quick, 30mins, the run time is good. If i had to guess the max output at it's brightest is 70~120 lumen, i would be shocked if its more. What is it good for? It's good for getting notice, as a flasher it's great. It's not good as a headlight, I had 2 running at the same time, max setting, pointing downwards... I cant really see that well in front of me. if you are going on a dark street and cruising at 9-10mph, you will hit pot holes and what ever else runs in front of you. Another problem is light bleeding from the side, the lamp isn't frontal focus, so when you mount it on your handlebar, the light bleed back to your eyes making it hard to see forward. Painting the sides black could fix this issue. I think theses are better as front fork mounts helping lighting up the bottom and then further away, you will need a 800 lumen lamp. I don't live in the boonies, but in SF bay area where the streets are fairly lit up. conclusion: good for getting notice, bad as primary head lamp, it's currently only 10 bucks.

Good light with a poorly designed USB port seal.
The lights themselves are great: very bright, the case is sturdy, the switch is easy to use, and the "charging" and "charged" indicators are also bright and clear. I like the attachment scheme, and that four sizes of silicone bands are supplied. These will fit even the smallest strut you are likely to find on a bike (~6 mm) and larger.Where they fall is the silicone rubber pad that goes on the back, between the body of the light and whatever tube or strut the light is attached to. These are so poorly attached to the body of the light that two are supplied—the manufacturer knows you will lose them. Because they are silicone rubber, no adhesive will bond them to the body. Their attachment depends on three small lugs that go part way through the pad. These will only keep the pad from slipping out from behind the body. They rely on the tension of the attachment band to hold them in place. That's fine until you have to take them off.But the real failing is the seal over the USB charging port, which is part of the silicone backing pad. Even if the pad is tightly held between the light body and the bike stem or strut to which it is attached, the projection on the back of the pad that fits into the USB port is not the same shape or a tight fit in the port opening. If the port were located in the center of the light, where pressure is greatest, this arrangement might work. Near the end of the light the seal is not going to be adequate to keep water out; dust, yes, water no. All it would take to fix is to mold the projection for the USB port slightly oversize so that it has to be pushed into the port opening.Overall, a good light with one critical flaw if you use it in the rain.

Not Bad - Fragile but Works
Ok- Very fragile and turns on in bag. The rubber band "mounting system" takes some getting used to (see Fragile comment). Clear light shines pretty wide, so positioning is tricky. All in all, I like these lights. I broke 2 of them in the process of realizing this though. I paid $14 and change each for the front and back and they will crack if you drop them from "bike height" onto any hard surface (Ie. anything not carpet), but they will still work. I also eventually figured out how to glue the silicone backing piece semi-permanently so that you don't lose it in the dark, because it is dark, and because I'm trying to find the correct size o-ring while not dropping the whole thing, because it is fragile. (I used plastic super glue from the HD.)Update 6/19 - I did receive a pair of replacement lights (front & back - white/red) after communicating with the seller. I'm going to say that you really need to attach the silicone rubber backing to the light to make installation 100x less frustrating. The material is a silicone rubber that is pretty slippery when new. I eventually discovered that heavy duty super glue works ok after cleaning with rubbing alcohol. There is a kit with a "primer" from Loctite for super-glueing plastics that I really like in general, and it's still holding these on for months now. (And the primer works great on tons of materials along with any heavy duty super glue!) Just be sure to glue only the top 2/3'rds of the rubber to the light so you can still charge it ;)

Nice light for a great price
Very bright, unfocused light. I wouldn't plan on this using this light as a headlight to see where you are going in the dark, but as a bright flashing beacon to warn oncoming drivers of your presence, it's great. Seems fairly well made. I've managed to get it wet a number of times now with no issues. Battery lasts OK. I haven't done any kind of controlled test to measure battery life, but the manufacturers claims seem reasonably close. What I like the best is that with the long rubber band, I was able to mount the light down on the front of the frame's neck instead of another clunky thing hanging off the handlebars. Throw in the great price, and we have a winner!

Nice light, love the mounting system
I bought the red rear light from this company a while ago and loved it. I keep losing headlamps so was carrying cheap flashlights to be street legal on my night time bike rides home. (My town requires bikes to have a light at night.) I was excited to see this company makes front lights as well. It mounts unobtrusively on the bike and is easy to remove and pop in a pocket if I'm parking the bike somewhere questionable, but since it's subtle enough, I've been leaving it on my bike and so far no one has taken it. It's not the brightest light ever, but it's bright enough for safety purposes.

Absolutely superb product..
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is an amazing piece of kit. Have recommended to a few friends already. The quality and design is FAR beyond anything on the market for even double to money. Am definitely 100% happy with this purchase, will definitely be seeing more reviews from Aspace, great stuff

Failed 1.5 months since bought new. Not waterproof. Possibly faulty sample.
Less than two months old since I bought it new.I cycled home from work on Friday 9th November 2018 through London for 18 miles (almost 28 km). That evening was the first time I cycled through heavy rain. The front (white) light took on some water. It got me home safely but gave up shortly after. It no longer switches on, there are clear signs of water drops inside the casing. Water got through the edge and possibly through micro USB charging port which was cover with its own original rubber seal (that did not seal properly).Maybe it is a single case of minor manufacturing fault and other identical lights do not have this issue, I am not sure. I have exactly same model rear (red) light which was through the same rain same day and it did not get water inside, it still works well, and actually I have used it for many months longer many more times under heavy rain. This is bright, light weight, easy to install, easy to operate, long lasting battery safety light. But it just did not manage well in rain. I will be looking for replacement.

Excellent value, quality lights.
The light has developed a fault whereby it won't take a charge. Attempting to return it. Up until now it was a good light for being seen

Very Happy
I'm very happy with my front light. I did not intend originally to replace my existing light. Howe, having got my Apace tail light I was so happy with its portability and effectiveness that I decided to purchase it. I originally used it with my Cat Eye front light but now have discarded the Cat Eye and will not put one of these on either side of the stem.It is very efficient size-wise and lasts me an entire week (9 miles each way to work) on a single charge. It speaks volumes about how much I am happy with my Apace light that not only have I bout the tail light but have bought a front light also and interns to get an additional front light. Great light

As good as your phone light
Do not buy to use for roads/paths with no lighting. With the light being advertised like it can light up any dark road (using phrases like "illuminate your pathway no matter... how dark the night"), I bought it so I could cycle on roads that have no streetlighting. Turns out it is pretty rubbish for this. It gives me a dim view of about 3 metres in front of my bike, and that is it. If I knew that, I would not have bought it.Otherwise, it is easy to charge and easy to apply and remove. I would recomend if you're simply wanting a bright standard bike lightEDIT: Just last night, the battery ran out (my fault), so I used my samsung s6 phone light whilst cycling. I found it was just as bright as this bike light.
