ThorogoodMen's Tradesman Waxed Cotton Jacket

I really wanted a name brand oilskin jacket, but price is price… so I thought I’d give this jacket a shot, there were no reviews for it and no asked questions about it.I got it today and I’m very pleasantly surprised at how much I like the jacket.I immediately put it on and tested it in the shower, and it is in fact waterproof. It seems well made so far and like it would be durable and the material seems like I could walk thru heavy brush and not get snagged.It fits well, looks good and is fairly stylish(my rednecky style anyways). Has lots of pockets with large waterproof flaps.It doesn’t have any insulation, but I like wearing my hoodies anyways, this jacket has enough room for that on me. If I want a fitted jacket I get large size, if I want a jacket I can use as my outer layer I get xtra large size, and this jacket seems right on par with this practice of mine, as far as sizing. I am about 5-11/180lb…The best part of this jacket compared to other Amazon jackets I’ve read about, is that THE ZIPPER IS ON THE CORRECT SIDE, the zipper pull is on the right and the left side hooks into the right side, and it also has the 2-way zipper which is perfect for when I need to drive the tractor while wearing it.Overall, as the guinnea pig, I am very satisfied and happy with this jacket.
