RMR Adjustable (LED) Sight 3.25 MOA Red Dot, Coyote Brown

I bought this a few years ago. Still rocking it on my Jagerwerks GLOCK 19! Zero issues! Shockingly, it was NOT counterfeit!

First, the RMR06-HRS (Coyote) that I received in Nov 2019 was verified to be authentic by Trijicon. An amazon review really won't do this optic justice, and if you're considering one, it's likely that you've done the research elsewhere, or are familiar with the sight. The 3.25 MOA reticle is clear and easy to spot, and I've tried to find fault in the thing. It's not magically there--alignment is just as important as with irons, but if I do my job (and practice), it shows up right where I'd expect. In my very limited range time since getting this, I tend to agree with what I read prior to making the purchase: it's almost imperceptibly slower than iron sights at close range, and markedly faster past about 7 yards. To me, the trade off for greater versatility and confidence with difficult shots is worth it. Fit and finish are what I'd expect: nice looking dark coyote/FDE hard anodizing (not Cerekote on this model), and a piece of equipment that looks and feels like it will outlive me, regardless of how much I (ab)use it. Of note, for mounting on a Glock MOS slide, a RMR Glock Mounting kit is needed; it includes a sealing plate and correct-length screws to interface with the MOS adapter plate (the ones included with this item are too long for that purpose). Mounted as such (or against any flat, smooth surface) it is designed to be waterproof to over 60 feet. A few other particulars that I was wondering about prior to purchase: This model can be turned off manually, but batteries will last over four years always left on. It auto-adjusts, just like the non-manual adjusting LED model, and defaults back to this setting after 16.5 hours if manually adjusted. I have never found conditions where it doesn't auto-adjust to what I perceive to be the best level, though some internet reviewers have reported conditions it struggles with. I find the ability to dim it at the range makes it easier to sight in, and very nice for practice with iron sights. For the few with night vision, the manual reports that it has a NVD setting.

The clarity and brightness of the red dot are exceptional, even in bright sunlight, allowing for quick target acquisition. The adjustable brightness settings are easy to manipulate, providing versatility depending on lighting conditions. I appreciate how durable and rugged the sight is, built to withstand the demands of heavy use. The low-profile design integrates seamlessly with my firearm, and the lightweight construction doesn't add unnecessary bulk. Installation was straightforward, and the sight holds zero remarkably well, even after heavy recoil. This reliability is crucial for maintaining accuracy in critical situations. The battery life is impressive as well, with the LED being energy-efficient, giving me confidence that I won't be left in the dark during use.

Coating is awesome and the quality you would expect from Trijicon. These are worth the $

You get a 5 star review by the sure fact that i got a real and legit type 2 rmr so thank you for that because surprisingly that’s a accomplishment on amazon if you get the real rmr. I also received it in 2 days so huge plus right there too. Thank you for both those things, excited to get to try this out. I did notice the latch on the trijicon box was open when i opened my fedex package. The rmr was still securely inside the box so It’s fine and I’m not mad but then i started to think that maybe it was done on purpose because the box kind of does squish down on the rmr if you try to close the latch. Who knows but all in all everything is good.

So far, so good. There is a reason these have the reputation they do, and cost what they do. You get one, your expectations will be disappointed with anything else.

In hindsight I should have spent more time reading reviews. That said, I’m confident hindsight itself would have been the better optic choice for my Glock 19x compared to this. Waited over a month for delivery while the date was pushed out several times. Which pales in comparison to receiving a product that doesn’t align with what was promised . supply chain snafus abound so the wait was not a deal breaker. However, had the product that arrived reflected what I ordered , I wouldn’t be writing this review. A NEW rmr/coyote brown. What I received was not new and was not coyote brown but black. Could have lived with the color after waiting so long not wanting to start then clock all over again. Spending over $500, not willing to make concessions on used vs new . Adding insult to injury, still waiting on refund over a month later, still showing “update when item is received”….. incredibly Frustrated when my wife/myself/3 kids as a household spend so heavily/consistently month after month for so many years (let alone how incredibly rare we return) the wait, misrepresented product, return/refund limbo for this long is far beyond disappointing

Color is slightly off from FN FDE, not enough to really care though. Adjustable brightness on the red dot is easy. I've had this for a couple months and the battery still works even though it never turns off. My only complaints, You can get cheaper models that have an instant on feature to conserve battery. Sighting in was awkward. It felt backwards. They "R" direction was more like bringing the firearm to the right instead of the dot to the right.
