A pointy yet dull meh
The first time I ordered this it came opened and without a sheath (as seen in the picture below). I got it replaced and to be honest it's not that great, it's not Sharp, it's not long enough and it doesn't feel like SOG quality. Honestly the mark one version is a lot better. It's okay I guess but overall I expected more.

Terrible Quality Control. Not the same SOG.
I bought the spear II model. There is a reason this spear is on sale. The quality control is absolutley terrible. When it comes in the package everything seems nice and it has the blade cover on. Once I took the blade cover off I noticed that the paint and finish was not clean, even, or smooth. There were also scratches on the blade and this is supposed to be a brand new spear not look like a used spear. There is a reason they sell it with the blade cover on, because when you take it off you will see all the defects. I was hoping it was just the one spear so I exchanged it for another. Exact model. When I received it same exact issues. Finish on the blade was spotty, rough, and scratches everywhere. I will never buy another "SOG" labeled product. They are not the same SOG quality. Everything is cheaply made in China and the quality control is non-existent. This is exactly what happened to John Deere products. Again, there is a reason this is on sale and they have a "limit" for the deal. Yeah because that's all the defected ones they are getting rid of.
