ASSEMBLY REQUIRED 😟
No where in the information does it say assembly required. When you are disabled & no one to help you, this is a problem. The assembly is minimal, put the handle bars in & the back rest. I can't figure out how the closure lock works, it doesn't line up with anything & the picture isn't a close-up. If you're eyesight is not good, you'll need help, the holes to thread the handle bar screws through are deep & it's dark in there. I used a flashlight. Fortunately, I am handy & got it together. I've had a Nova Mini Mack for years. The wheel assembly broke completely off on it. I wish I had known that they are guaranteed for life so I didn't buy a new one. (Should have read all the fine print in the ad.)They are EXTREMELY roughed & I loved mine. I'll keep the paperwork on this one for the future. Also, brakes & wheels are only guaranteed for 5 years, I think I read.

Very sturdy
This is my second Nova Mini Mack Heavy Duty Rollator Walker. I bought the first one in April 2014. It is actually that first walker that I'm reviewing since I've had the new one only about one month. I used the first one every day for five years and never had a single problem with it. I occasionally had to adjust the brakes, but that is very easily done. I'm a senior citizen, but I still work. The first walker, and now the second one, goes to work with me every day. It folds easily to transport. It fits into my trunk, but I prefer to carry it in the backseat. It's just easier for me to place the walker in the backseat than it is for me to lift it into the truck. I sit in the walker all day at work. It feels much more secure and safe to me than a rolling desk chair. And it is much more comfortable than a hard plastic chair. The first walker was extremely study. I am a heavy person and it held up very well under my weight. Never once did it feel like it would collapse under me. The only reason I bought a second one was because the tires were worn out on the first one. All the tread was gone and the tires were starting to crack. The tires became slightly out-of-round because of the wear. That made the walker roll less easily. I could have just replaced the wheels, I suppose. I'm not very mechanical, however, so I just treated myself to a new one. I reordered the same walker. The second one looks just like the first one except for the tires. The tires on the first one were gray. The tires on the second one are black and the tread is a little different. After one month of use, I'm just as pleased with the second one as I was the first one. If I get five years of daily usage out of this second walker before the tires go bald, I'll happily buy a third one!

YES!!
I love this --- it has been a total game changer for me. Back issues and COPD find me sitting more than walking in recent years .... and I'm short (5'). I had looked at walkers at medical supply retail establishments really with the purpose of trying to figure out if a walker with a seat was something that might work for me and that I would like. Sadly most brick & mortar establishments don't stock items for the truly short, heavy adult. I was able to determine that I did want one but the seat HEIGHT was crucial to me. I did not feel secure sitting on one where my feet wouldn't touch the ground. I explored my options on line and found the NOVA MINI MACK to be the answer for me. Very easy to fold and store in the back of my vehicle. I do not need this around my home as much as I need it for those times when I spot a store I'd like to explore. or an event I'd like to go to. It arrived very quickly, the red I chose to my delight was deeper than what was shown in the photo. Less than 5 minutes to assemble. and just plain awesome. I have used it on paved surfaces and on rough lawns/ yards. Not as smoothly on paved, of course, but manageable. I feel safe and secure. I know that if my back starts up I can rest anywhere thanks to the seat. Not only do I find it physically therapeutic, but mentally as well. All those places in the recent past that were off limits to me are for the most part very doable. The only cons, in my opinion, is that I would have preferred a design where the seat lifted up to expose the basket rather than hooking on the bars and not being directly under the seat. I'm nit picking here, but when it's this close to perfect you always want a little more.

brake cable is not good
This is a sturdy rollator. The wheels are awesome, and the whole thing should last a long time. There is one problem: the brake cable sticks out a mile. This becomes a problem when taking buses - other riders keep pushing the cable back as they pass. It's also a problem when taking cabs - sometimes when drivers stow the rollator, they inadvertently fold back one of the brake cables and the rollator sits on its own cable all the way to my destination. After a year of owning this rollator, the insulation on the brake cables has a crack that runs all the way around the cable and I am afraid that the cable will rust and break before long. And NOVA has no way to service their rollators. A broken rollator is landfill fodder. I'm looking for a replacement now - hopefully something with better cables.

Light weight rollator with comfortable seat for large person!
Because of the shape of body and weight, I have had problems finding a rollator that has a large seat, yet is not too heavy. 18 in. between handles would fit me except for the one inch thumb rests on each side. This rollator fits the bill. I can easily fit my 300 lb pear shape thru the handles and sit comfortably. The only thing I dislike is there is not a bag under the seat. There is a basket out in front of the lower part of the walker but it tends to get in the way. Other than that I am extremely pleased with this rollator. I can even get it in and out of the car alone. Great product!

Bestest Ever ! (not good grammar but you hopefully will get the point !
Where to even start ! This walker is everything as advertised & much more. Perfect for some one 4' 11". Weight capacity is 300lbs & a seat of 17inches. That seat width for a smaller walker is very hard to find. Space between arms is 19". Very comfortable ! My feet go flat to the floor when I sit. Sturdy, Love the 8"wheels. Hand brakes very good. Nova - you guys out did yourselves ! Well worth every cent I paid for it. Not to be vulgar, but speaking of money - I looked up &/or called at least 12 places from the internet & other sources & for the same company, same model & model #, same description/specifications, Amazon was the best price, no delivery chg, AND received it the next afternoon. How cool is that ! Amazon You Rock ! No tools needed to put the 2 handles on (brakes are already attacked) & to hang the basket. Speaking of the basket- it's the perfect attachment to take along my aging little Chihuahua. He loves it. He just sits there & watches the world go by ! He has trouble walking anymore. So when he is tired I put him in there & he took to it right away. Went for our second walk together this morning. No draw backs to this walker from where I "sit".

I've had this one day and it has already improved my quality of life.
I didn't know how badly I needed this. I developed a breathing problem that makes me very weak. It wasn't something I had expected because of my other problems. I have been getting very frustrated and didn't know what to do. I have gotten too weak to do many normal tasks. A friend asked me if I had a walker. I hadn't even thought about it and I discovered a rollator is what I needed. I don't have a balance problem. The rollator gives me the help I need to carry things and stop and rest if needed. This one is perfect. As have others on this page , I have gained weight. I've also gotten shorter. I am 5' 4" and my weight ranges above 250.The seat is just big enough and my feet are flat on the floor. The device fits easily in my hallways. It's very easy to maneuver. I haven't tried to put it in the car yet, but I had no problem unpacking it. I've had this one day and it has already improved my quality of life.

Love both of my Novas!
It's the best! This is so comfortable for all my needs. It's sturdy, easy to use, and I can get it in and out of the car. I feel safe with this in my hands when I'm walking about, or sitting down. When I need a seat, it's there. Just lock my brakes and it feels safe and secure - and comfortable! Thank you for a well-made product! This is my second Mini Mack purchase. First one is good as new after a full year's use, but I wanted one for inside the home and one for outside. I chose a different color so it's easy to know which one belongs where. It's amazing the black guck wheels pick up on the tires when out for a walk and shopping; it will not wipe off easily, and eventually will rub off onto carpets. Only problem I've encountered is that the brake cables will bend out of position when trying to get walker in/out of car. If it was running through the frame instead of outside, it would be a worthwhile improvement.

Built like a Mack Truck
Just received. Excellent packaging and delivery. Perfect condition. Easy to assemble. User is 85 years young at 4'11". The red is actually a maroon color. Lovely. No adjustments to brakes necessary. Handlebar height adjustment went smoothly-- just a few knobs to screw into the frame. Width assembled is 24 1/2", perfect for standard size entry ways/doors (a few inches to spare). Rolls smoothly with solid 8" wheels. Have no doubt that this solidly built Walker would support 400 lbs. as stated. Mother-in-law weighs 115 lbs. Talk about overkill. This was not purchased for present use as user has excellent mobility at present. In past month, 3 elderly women in our church have fallen and broken their hips. Perhaps these accidents might have been avoided if they would have had something like this available, and had they been encouraged to use it at the very first sign of instability. An ounce of prevention beats a pound of flesh any day. My mother-in-law thanked me for being so thoughtful. 'Nuf said. Almost forgot. Get the cup holder. It's a nifty addition to spruce up a really nice set of new wheels.

I wish I had bought it sooner
This is, hands down, an awesome walker. My dad was a mountaineer and backpacker in his more vibrant days, and he was the one who put a rubber protector on the end of his ice axe and used it as a cane for a while. I would try to take him to the gravel trail at the beach with his regular walker, and it was clear the thing was made for smooth indoor surfaces and nothing else. To make a long story short, this walker has been on every trail my dad is capable of walking. It is solid. The wheels are wide and made of quality materials. They swivel easily and the brakes are much more sold than most rollator walkers. It folds up neatly and easily for transport (though it isn't exactly small.) I'm writing this review because I looked up the link to recommend it to a good friend of my Dad's. The 5 star rating is no accident. This walker has helped my Dad get outside and enjoy the wonders of life at a time when many of his joys are slipping away. Bravo to Nova for getting it right!

Just the right fit
Bought two one for the inside downstairs in the basement level and one for the outdoor for gardening. The chair is very comfortable and lightweight to handle. Love my purchase.

Sturdy, but heavy
I'm 5' / 350 and had to go with this one. In all my research it was the best for my height/weight although it's a snug fit. My grips, why does it cost $100 more than most like it for it being just a little shorter. Second grip, it's heavy. It takes myself and my mother both to put it in the truck of her car. It takes up the entire trunk space. My husband lifts it by himself to put it in the van. I'm happy to know that I can take it most anywhere and have a seat when my knees tire out.

Very Sturdy
I bought this for my mom based on the reviews of others. We were not disappointed. My 83 year old mom uses this in the garden and it helps to keep her more active outside. She loves the locking wheels so she can get up from the seat. I also bought her the pouch to put her gardening tools in. My mom used to be 5'2" and is now probably under 5' tall. This size is perfect for her. Please note that this walker is big for indoor use and I will be buying her a smaller one. The purpose of this one was being able to be outside and the sturdy wheels provide the stability she needs.

Super nice walker
I have had this walker for a little over month & I love it.I was looking for a new walker as my old one was over 10 years old with bald tires & failing brakes. It took me over a year to find a walker that was a good fit for me. I am only 5' tall and wide at the hips . All the walkers I looked at were either too tall for me or too narrow for me to sit on.This one is GREAT I can sit on it and my feet can touch the ground. It light weight enough that I can get in and out of the car with problems.

Good choice for short, plus size people...
Pros: Made of excellent material. Very sturdy construction. Ideal for adults under 5'4". Easy fold with safety lock. Seat has great width for plus size person. 19" seat height so very easy to sit down and rise to stand.Cons: Somewhat heavy, around 20lbs. Storage basket is open and sits in front rather than concealed under seat.
