Quality product works like a dream with mac mini.

Got this because my motherboard only has one USB-C port, I have a DVD writer and 2 SSDs plugged into the hub, getting 300mbs out of the SSDs, which although not the rated speed of them, I'm more than happy with.

This is a very useful and practical hub for my editing workflow. I took a point off because of the short cable. Could use a bit longer cable tbh

Works perfectly well. Using it for connecting an external audio DAC, iPad as a sidecar display, a hard disk and the Elgato Stream deck.

Nothing to it… solid, well made and simple.It has extended the amount of USB-C ports available on my Mac mini M1. Well worth the money.

It need works and lets you connect multiple devices, but at a cost. The cost being a reduction in read write speeds of the connected devices. Connect two drives with read write speeds X and get you’ll now get two drives with speeds of X/2. You will get more drives connected but a drastic reduction in performance.

Warned about lack of charging and video, ok. But nothing about Thunderbolt which one would assume would be compatible. Not so. "Cannot Use Thunderbolt Accessory. Connect accessory to a Thunderbolt port on this Mac."The accessory referred to is a Digital Audio I/O from MOTU.Otherwise the unit performs well for simple data transfers to and from disk.
