SimPure Water Filter Wrench

I had been looking for a good water filter for a long time because I was tired of constantly refilling and carrying heavy 5-gallon bottles home. This SimPure water filter is exactly what I needed! The hot water function is fantastic — it heats instantly, so I can get hot water whenever I want without waiting. The water filters are excellent, and the water tastes really clean and fresh. It’s also very easy to use, and the whole system feels durable and well-made. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. It has made my daily routine much easier, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and reliable water filtration system.

Wanted a reverse osmosis filter for good clean drinking water and liked the idea of a portable counter top machine. Purchased the Y10H with hot water option and have been very pleased with it. It is a very nice looking unit, seems and well built, the hot water option gets plenty hot for a cup of tea or soup. The carafe is perfect size for filling the reservoir on my Kurig and makes the coffee taste much better than tap water. I do not really have any dislikes, it looks good, quiet and easy to use. Instructions are clear, it was very well packaged for shipping, padding and double boxed from the factory. Maybe the only thing I would like to see changed would be a glass carafe. I did have an issue with an error code for temperature causing the hot water option to not work at times but customer service was excellent, fast response with good communication and they shipped me a replacement without any hassle, that is a big plus knowing they stand behind their product and won’t leave you hanging.

Requirements: taste, hot water, quality, and looks. I bought the water meter together with this filter. The meter measure 514 ppm from the tap water in Irvine California, 11 ppm from Niagara water bottle, and 56 from the filtering out three water tanks per instruction. Per the meter, we want our drinking water to be below 50. Taste is good not excellent and it’s beautiful. I am bother that on multiple measurements it range in the 50s and 60s.

I purchased the "SimPure Y10H Hot Water Reverse Osmosis Water Filter Countertop, RO Water Filtration System 6 Stage Filtration, Portable Pitcher, NO-Installation" in December 2024, started using it in Feb 2025. In July 2025 the product melted inside and all over my countertop, and died. Because the return window closed I cannot do anything via Amazon. Wrote to the company SimPure to no response. I lost my money, almost burned my house down and have no water filter. I would give zero stars if I could.

Being an engineer I have to say this is an engineering marvel. We purchased this for a second home. We did not want a 5 gallon tank growing bacteria over a 6 month period of non-use. So, this tankless unit was the choice. We recently had guests and it kept up with all six adults for a week. In addition, the hot water feature was used extensively without an issue. Our tap water is 270 ppm and the unit reduced it to 27ppm. Even after a month it is the same. Some other reviewers had an issue with weight and hard to slide around to refill the supply tank. We used a piece of shelf liner under the unit and it turns easily to fill the supply tank.

After a couple weeks of using the SimPure Y10H Water Filtration system, I would like to leave a review: the system is easy to set up and use, its compact size fits our kitchen perfectly, the water tastes fresh and pure. I like the most is that the water temperature is able to adjusted at the tea mode. Overall, it is a happy purchase.

Water is great. Tastes delicious. But the tea feature which was my selling point is maxed out at 200. Any tea drinker knows this is not hot. Tea needs a boil. My tea won’t steep, my matcha won’t dissolve … so I need to use my kettle which defeats my purchase. I also hate the design of the back water holder. You can’t flll it while it’s connected. You have to remove and fill. It’s quite heavy and a PITA if you try to tuck this large filter away. Can’t recommend but again water is great.

I’ve been using the filter for 1 month now and I am very happy with everything about it. Installation was very easy and required me to flush the two included filters a few times before drinking the water. A full tank lasts me a whole day, I refill it at night and I use the remaining water for plants in my apartment. I live in a big city so my main concern regarding filtration is sediment in the pipes of my building. I previously used a Brita pitcher and the water from this SimPure machine tastes better than my previous methods, and fills itself faster than my Brita or Pur pitcher.

Still taste clorine. Started crapping out after a month.
