Acctim Large-Bell Alarm Clock - White

I've had this alarm clock since the beginning of the year, I've stopped using my phone in the morning and find this clock quite useful. It has a little slider to make it run slower or faster and it does take a while to find the perfect balance. The alarm is fairly accurate, within about 10 minutes, and it lasts about 24 hours when fully wound up. It's a nice little analog device to have in such digital world.

Lovely looking clock with a good ring but it loses time and I can't access the adjustment lever. Also the turn dials on the back are so close together it is hard to turn them with out hurting fingers

WORST ALARM CLOCK IVE EVER OWNED. DOESNT KEEP TIME. STOPS WORKING CONSTANTLY DESPITE BEING WOUND UP. PICK IT UP SHAKE IT WORKS A WHILE THEN STOPS AGAIN KNOBS ON BACK KEEP FALLING OFF. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AVOID THIS CRAP AT ALL COSTS !

Had it for around 2 weeks now as I needed a loud alarm for early shifts. The alarm is loud enough but the buttons to wind it up and set the alarm or time are very small and too close together, resulting in sore fingers! Within the first few days it started running slow - it needs to be fully wound up everyday just to keep time, again resulting in those sore fingers! Thankfully, my early rises only come around 2 weeks out of four. I wouldn't recommend it and I wish I'd shopped around a bit longer.

I have had this clock going for a while now and it keeps good time, there is an adjustment feature on the reverse which I've not had to use so far. It speeds up or slows down the clock. Ask your elderly relatives for instructions. I'm old already so I'm familiar with it. The clock looks nice, is not heavy, ticks loudly, which is what I wanted as I find it soothing and it helps me sleep, reminds my soul of my childhood perhaps. To me it's a proper clock. Very happy with my purchase.

I saw this beautiful clock and thought to myself 'yes, this is the one for me - classic design, wind up, proper bells and a tick!' I love a ticking clock, the tick......tock......tick.....tock, gently moving in time with my resting heartbeat, gently lulling me into restful sleep. Sounds perfect, yes? Not this clock though! oh no! This clock will make you feel like you are having a panic attack - the tick....tock....tick....tock is not gentle or lulling or in rhythm with any heartbeat - the tick tock of this clock is more ticktickticktickticktickCLUNKtickticktickCLUNKtickCLUNKtickticktickticktickticktickticktickCLUNKticktickCLUNK and so it goes on and on and on all night long - the CLUNKS are random though, so don't expect to find them predictable in order to ignore them, no, they will lull you into a false sense of security and just as you are finally getting used to the very fast (around 200 per minute, I didn't actually count them as I was too busy trying to get my resting heartbeat under control again) it CLUNKS again, causing a heart skip and your dog to start growling at the clock. In the end I was forced to open my bedroom window and hurl said clock into the garden. Where it continued to tickticktickticktickCLUNK like The Tell Tale Heart. I have always slept with my bedroom window open, as I love the sound of the little river that runs through my garden and to be woken by the sounds of the birds waking up and can only recall having to close it once in over 15 years, when the temperature here dropped to -27C and I felt chilly, but last night, my bedroom window was closed to try to drown out this clock. So, there you go - I do not like this clock.

Cant sleep without one, loud ticking is not for everyone, but for me......bliss zzzzzzzzzz

The clock kept amazing time for the first few weeks, but now loses around half an hour a day, even with the speed lever pushed to the fastest setting.

Der Vorgänger hat mehrere Jahre gehalten, bis ihm irgendwann die Luft ausging.Dieser geht verhältnismäßig genau. So ca 3 Minuten Abweichung pro 24 Stunden.Für ein China Produkt für knapp 13 € ist das schon sehr gut.Ansonsten ist er wertig verarbeitet. Tickt allerdings sehr laut. Für mein Schlafzimmer nicht geeignet. Er steht im Wohnzimmer.

Sveglia di buona fattura, considerando il prezzo di vendita. Meccanica a carica manuale, presenta un ticchettio non troppo molesto al quale ci si abitua facilmente, fino a non essere più percepibile. Tuttavia sconsigliata per chi pretende assoluto silenzio. Il suono è molto forte, impossibile non svegliarsi. La precisione deve essere controllata, all'inizio, attraverso l'apposito correttore sul retro. Nel mio caso anticipa di circa 6 minuti ogni 5 giorni. Ovviamente occorre ricordarsi di caricarla, possibilmente alla stessa ora. Le chiavette retrostanti sono di plastica, quindi occorre prestare attenzione a non forzare la carica.
