Effective, but a bit hard to use.
These spiky balls are indeed very hard and you will not be able to squash one in your hands at all. I feel that you can't roll it using your hands for good effect, as it hurts the hand to put enough pressure to be effective, but roll it against any surface such as the floor for your feet/ other body areas, and also walls for upper body etc. It's nice to use it while rolling over it on carpet, but I do feel overall it isn't the easiest to use, especially if you have difficulty trying to roll yourself over it on the ground. Maybe this product could come with one (or a pair) sturdy glove so you can use it by hand with lots of pressure. Also I think it would be great to get a little leaflet to show different ways of using this item. How effective are they? I've never used these types of balls before so can't compare to the other similar products but in my personal opinion they do actually work! It really does feel very nice indeed to relieve muscular tension, such as on the upper back and shoulders, and has a lasting effect. Using it under the feet is very easy and effective especially if you've been on your feet all day!The price does seem a bit high, but you are getting two balls and a nice little bag to store and carry them.I recommend you do give it a go and if you aren't happy then just let the seller know, judging from the other reviews the seller is very helpful and seriously cares about customer satisfaction! Otherwise you could get cheaper versions and try those. Overall I would say 4 stars or maybe up to 4.5 stars.

Shock ! Horror ! Unlikely looking product actually works...
My osteopath recommended this for a stiff ankle and plantar fascitis. I find it hard to walk for the first 30 minutes each morning. I was skeptical, but just as he described: when you do some good firm rolling with a Beenax, the effects are amazing. It's taken a while to realise that they package them in a pair so you can roll both feet at once. It should have been in the manual !

Relieves plantar flaccid pain
Product arrived as advertised, one ball is softer than other. I used this very painful plantar flaccid. Used the softer one first and now use harder ones as it gets better.I relieved the pain under your foot as you use it.I carry it round with me and use it when my arch of foot hurts. This takes months to recover, I still get sore after 3 months, my physio said it will take a long time.Keep using the balks to make foot supple

A happy customer
I purchased these balls to help my plantar fasciitis and so far so good. Before this purchase I alternately used a tennis ball and golf ball and seemed to be forever chasing them across the room! These seem much more effective and together with insoles my condition is heaps better. I can only comment on use on feet but am happy to recommend for fellow plantar fasciitis sufferers. The service was first class, dispatched and received very quickly, thank you.

Brilliant Spiky Ballls
These spiky balls are fantastic for fascial release of the feet. By relieving tension in the feet a definite improvement in back pain is felt. They're also very good at releasing tension in all fleshy areas of the body. The best benefits and the easiest way to use the balls is under the foot by gently rolling the ball backwards and forwards. For knots in the muscles in the back placing a ball between yourself and the wall and rolling it up and down works wonders. I'd also recommend for arthritis in the hands. Spiky balls are generally overlooked but they are more effective than painkillers sometimes and of course there are no side affects! Brilliant. Every home should have a pair of these if not two pairs!!

Massage Ball
The massage balls arrived quickly and were used immediately. The are hard plastic balls about the size of a tennis ball with spikes. You place the ball between a wall and the part you want massaged, in my case it was my back; very easy to use and can be used with any hard wall. You can pack these in your briefcase or handbag and take them anywhere with you and all you have to do is find a wall to use them. The spikes knead the affected area and promote blood flow and I use mine daily. A great purchase

Simple and effective
I had been using a golf ball to exercise my foot and help my plantar fasciitis pain. Then someone mentioned getting a "pilates foot ball". I found this set on Amazon and have been using the hard ball for a few weeks now. It is much better than a golf ball. Easier to control and seems to give better relief. I have also used it to ease back aches and pains. I haven't used the soft ball yet.

Quick reflexology
Gave this 4/5 because the balls are too hard and they will not deflate so you can't stand on them as it would be too painful. However works really well when I am sat in a chair and wearing socks. They easily roll under your foot giving you the desired reflexology effect.Do not use on laminate/wood flooring as they just slip. Place on a mat/rug/carpet.
