Another great Mounting Dream product perfect fit for Samsung Q990D
Another great product from Mounting Dream. The build quality is great. Holds my Samsung Q990D surrounding speaks well and sturdy. Easy installation. Nice wiring through the stands to hide wires. I am very happy for what I paid for. Strongly recommend this product if you also have a Q990D. Don't go with other cheaper stands -- they won't look right (not just nice but right) for this particular speaker. Some of them don't even have the right 1/4" - 20 screws included.

Sturdy Speaker Stands
After about 30 minutes of assembly time I was able to set my surround speakers up. My wife was pleased with the look of the stands so all good there. I removed the foot pads and replaced them with carpet spikes and honestly that took the most time. I measured so each spike was the same height as all the others and the stands sit well in the carpeted floor. The two tubes are screwed in place with hex screws with a screw knob in the middle of both tube to adjust the speaker height. I have them extended all the way to the max height of 42 inches -- which puts the rear surround speakers at a nice position above the back of the sofa. The speaker power wire is run through the back of the top tube and exits out the bottom. The resultant look is clean and the stands hold the speakers securely. The stands come in a powder coat finish so they look to be scratch resistant. As far a tip-resistance goes, I am sure you can knock them over with a heavy blow but otherwise the wide base makes them somewhat immune from easily tippling over. If tip-resistance is important to you then I recommend adding some lead weights in the base to give the stands more weight. I don't think that is really necessary. I tried to tip them over with increasingly stronger pushes and I was satisfied that under "normal" conditions they won't easily tip over. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is that instead of the knob to adjust height you should just supply another hex set screw which makes for a cleaner look. Once set I do not plan on changing the height. Really nice speaker stands. Highly recommended.

Using with Roku wireless speakers. Not bad, not great.
I bought these because I did not want to spend almost 3x's the amount (around 110 dollars) for the stands designed specifically for Roku wireless speakers. Assembly was simple. Not many parts to deal with. You are better off using your own Phillips screwdriver though, not the Frankentool they give you. The screws it comes with (#6 fine thread) are too long for Roku speaker mounts so I had to use my own. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind. The Roku speakers weigh around 4lbs each. I would not feel comfortable putting anything heavier on these stands. They do not give me the impression they could support much more weight. Even my speakers are pushing the limits IMO. It would not take much effort to tip them over for example. Fit and finish is very good. No flaws, no missing or damaged parts, etc. Nothing fancy or "good looking" about them. I have them hidden from view behind our recliners, so looks were not a concern anyhow. I have each one raised all the way up and, so far, they have held position without any slippage. Overall, 3.5-4 stars for quality, value, and overall functionality. There are far too many virtually identical speaker stands out there to determine if these are any "better" or "worse" than the others, so my advice is to just go with the least expensive option. That's how I ended up with these.

Great for the Nakamichi Dragon surrounds
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought the Nakamichi Dual 12" Dragon system, but the surround Dragon stands weren't available, so I tried these. These were rated at holding 11 pounds. The dragon surround speakers weigh 9 pounds. They work GREAT!! The only issue was the speaker mounting holes. I would have to drill a custom hole in the stand to use the 2 screw holes in the Dragon surrounds. With the bracing that comes with the stands just 1 screw seems to hold the Dragon speaker very well. I also think these stands are udder rated at 11 pounds. They are VERY sturdy. The stands come with rubber screw-in feet but also have carpet spikes in the parts bags if needed. I'm using the rubber feet. The adjustable height is another feature that the Dragon stands don't have.

Perfect for Q990F rear speakers
Perfect speaker stand for Samsung Q990F rear speakers. Pro tip: put the AC power cord inside the tubes before bolting everything together. Wiring looks super clean.

Works great with Samsung HW-Q990f soundbar surround speakers.
These stands for rear surround speakers look great. They are very study and don't wobble at all. Many speaker mounting options for a variety of small speakers. Everything you need is included in the box. Very easy to move so you can get the best sound quality out of your HT setup. You can easily route both a speaker cable and the power cord INSIDE the tube to hide the wires. No external cable management required for a clean look. A little on the pricey side but worth it compared to lesser options.

Generally good stands, but assembly needs improvement.
Used for Samsung Q990D rear speakers. Overall good quality and seems durable. It was a little confusing which hardware was supposed to be used for this. Images in instructions weren't accurate. After finally getting it mounted I noticed the speakers weren't level. The more you tighten/secure the screws on the bunting bracket, the more of an angle it it creates and lifts the front of the speaker up. Speakers are attached to just one screw on the back of the unit (top). There is nothing to secure the base of the speakers, so they still wobble. Not 100% secured to the stands. Feet underneath the main base feel like hard, smooth plastic, rather than grippy rubber. So they can slide easily, which to me is a con because it more moveable and makes it less stable.

I spent some time tracking down stands in AUS that would work well with Samsung PS-RB99B Surround Speakers. Key thing is good speaker attachment, and a large enough tube to take the power cable with the 90 degree plug. FYI 47cm cable left, when at lowest height. V clear instructions and multitude of bolt options for different speaker designs. These guys have really thought this through: you get what you pay for

I'm baffled since I can't see how the manufacturer can improve on these, but it seems like they're charging a massive premium for the newer model when these seem perfect to me. I wrote them an email to ask what the differences between the two are, other than a slight change in dimensions, but received no reply. That doesn't bode well for customer support, but there's hardly a need for that given the sturdy construction of these, and the very clear assembly instructions.

Justo lo que buscaba , el acabado y todos los tornillos lo hacen ver bien , la altura es la indicada y es tipo de montaje tambien , pesado pero no tanto como para poder maniobrarlo, muy bueno , totalmente satisfecho.
