Best I've seen
You can use this tool to make many different sized circles all the way up to around 2' in diameter. I have used this to layout the flower of life and other complex geometrical shapes. If you are an artist into doing sacred geometry pieces this is a MUST have.

Requires a Mechanical Pencil
Requires a mechanical pencil to fit into the tiny holes to draw circles.

Amazing!!!
Such a cool ruler for drawing circles or rainbows. I’m in love with it. It is made out of hard thin plastic, so I am very careful where I store it.

Incredibly useful!!!
I love water painting landscapes and outer space/night skies… but I can never draw a perfect circle, let alone several. This shows you the exact sizes you’re drawing, so you can easily create perception or (at least slightly) more accurate depictions of planets’ sizes in comparison to each other. The additional feature of it being a ruler is SO useful for adding borders or zodiac stuff and alignment paintings. The ruler is also super useful for landscape paintings - definitely helps with perspective!! Excellent value for the money; excellent ruler for artists, quilters (appliqué!), students, and everyone - great to have on hand!!

Sub-standard Quality
The scale is of substandard quality, can easily crack or break into 2. The holder in the middle is acurally a weak point for the scale.

Great multi use tool for artwork
I originally was interested in this to create perfect circles for my artwork without the use of a compass with a needle potentially making holes or dents in the paper. Even a small dent or impression can then be highlighted out and made really distracting if you plan on coloring over the area later, especially with colored pencils. If you want to avoid this effect, you either need to get really good at drawing circles or find a tool like this!I tried a couple other similar tools and this was my favorite by far. It is easy to spin and stays put well without needing a ton of pressure to hold the middle down. I just use my finger but you could also use the eraser side of a pencil or a chopstick as well. The inner templates and markings along the edge are also more useful than I expected. I didn’t think even consider them when I first purchased this, but now I use them often!
