Car Door Edge Guards

Applied these to the doors of my 2015 Lincoln MKS. They are easy to press into place and look sharp. They are thicker than the store bought plastic and should last the life of the car. The only problem I had is when I cut the top some of the underlying metal got exposed when the plastic sheared away and now it’s rusting. I will have to apply a dab of blackpaint, otherwise I’m happy with the way it looks

I park my car in a very narrow space and the doors constantly bump into the walls. I've gotten a few scraps on the edge of the doors as well. I have a car that is about a year old and definitely want to protect my investment. Not only does this product cover the old scars and marks but it protects against new ones. Now I don't even think about the wall scraping my doors and can comfortably get out of my car. The roll is quite long, I covered all four doors and still have about half of the roll left. Even used some to cover the trunk as well (figured why not). Once on it fits right in with my car, especially since my car is black. Seems to be strong adhesive.

I bought this to use as fairing and dash trim on my Harley Davidson touring bike. It seems to cover just a bit more edging than the stock HD trim did and was far cheaper to source. The only issue I had was the adhesive in the channel seemed to have glued the two sides together a bit. So I had to use a dental pick tool to insert and spread the sides as I was applying it to the edge of the work surface.

Did not last long started peeling

Good price for lenghth you get. Clean your door edges, cut to size, peel a few inches of film off and go. I repressed on them a couple times after installing. Has been thru 3 automatic car washes and 2 manuals. Holding well so far. Only done door edges. Have plenty left if need to redo at later date when I install some stripes or graphics. Has saved my door edge already when wind gust blew my door into concrete posts at gas pump as I was getting out. Would buy this again and shipping was fast.

The tape seems to not be as strong as intended to stay on the door even though I wiped off before applying for some parts of the door they would come off and be hanging off.I just out it back on cause I'm trying to not make it seem like a complete fail.Material is VERY soft than experting

Would give 5 stars if the adhesive worked at all. Had to apply my own. But it works wonderfully other than that.

Seemed a bit cheap initially, but it’s been months and it’s still stuck on the door. Would buy again.
