The Roller Squeegee by Obvious Solutions

What can I say. it really works. I was a little skeptical when I first seen it. I used it about ten times now and it does pull a lot of paint out of the roller. I suggest cleaning it off with water and a wet rag as soon as your done to keep it from caking up. Out of the ten times I've used it I think I saved a quarter to a half gallon of paint, but I'm using a 3/4" nap. I paint a few houses a year and include the paint into my price so, if I can save a gallon or two, more money in my pocket. It's worth it to me. At $65. a gallon, it already paid for itself.

I highly recommend this. I used to hate washing out rollers but with this it makes it so much easier and you will be surprised at how much paint you can put back in the can.

I wouldn't say this is necessarily easy to use. Using something like this while painting I would say does not guarantee it won't pull fibers or other material off of the roller if you're trying to re-use what you squeegee off.I first tried to use it to clean off dried paint that was already on my roller brush and some paint removal liquid that works ok, it was pretty messy and difficult to push the squeegee over the roller away from myself as the instructions/images show. It was actually easier for me to pull the squeegee towards me once it was on the roller. You also have more leverage if you hold your roller much closing to the bend of the metal instead of on the handle.The second time I used this I did try it while painting and wet with paint and that's where I really think the useful scenario of this product shows. If you really want to use the most paint you can while painting and not waste any, or completely squeegee off the paint from your roller when done using it with wet paint then that's the best use for this product.In summary, this is not necessarily for cleaning rollers with dry paint, you'll have trouble. This product is for maximizing the use of your paint from your roller while painting, or cleaning it off as best you can when done painting - you'll be able to use this squeegee and be satisfied with the results.

I had a paint project that required me to use a 1-1/4" knap roller cover. This device let me reclaim at least one pint of paint that would have otherwise been washed down the drain. Even if you're not using a deep-knap roller this squeegee is a must have. This roller squeegee and a spinner have cut after job clean up time way down and made a tiresome task almost fun. If you're tired of throwing away good rollers because it's too hard to clean them out get one of these. With the time and material saved it will pay for itself. Get one!

Worked perfectly! Way better than you using the scraper type! Was able to get double the amount of paint out of the roller than with a scraper style!

I had high hopes for this item and I did use it while painting, but it just did not work as easily as expected. I find a latex gloved hand to be much more effective and then I can just throw away the glove instead of cleaning another paint covered tool.

I love this tool, is one of the awesome tools in my tool bag when I paint, this one and the Purdy brush and roll spinner. I must say these two tools helped me save a lot of money on rollers totally recommend them

I got this to clean paint rollers after using them but so I can re-use them at a later date. It works fine for standard sized rollers, although the process covers your hands in paint. I mean, you coat thoroughly drenched with paint. On the one hand, it is better to use this than simply to use your hands, but when it is all done, you aren't any cleaner. I just wish it was adjustable so I can also use it for smaller rollers, which I prefer.
