Purchased because my granddaughter wanted to craft with me, unfortunately the thin wire light did not function at all and I had to return the kit. This is not the first time that I have had this problem with cuteroom DIY house kits. Someone should take a look at their quality control protocols and not send out kits with faulty components. My granddaughter was so upset that we could not make this together. As an added insult the kit had gone up from £19.50 to £22.94. Through no fault of mine I would have to pay an additional £3.44 if I wanted to re order this item as understandably Amazon do no replace items from 3rd party sellers, absolutely disgusted will probably never buy from this seller again

This kit does not have a recommended age or difficulty level, however there are images that need to be cut with a sharp knife from sheets of paper so something to bear in mind. There are many parts, many of them very small, that have to be cut and assembled together. These make for a very detailed final model but can also be very frustrating at times. Maybe part of the overall satisfaction at the end?There are full instructions in a fairly small booklet and the initial challenge is in understanding the format of these, especially where one instruction references another on an earlier page. Still, this is a challenge with a rewarding number of hours required to complete. Including two tubes of glue is a nice touch, even if all the instructions on them is in Chinese.I would say this is not a set for a beginner but for the modeller looking for a more advanced challenge.

Lovely little dolls house kit, although it is very small and intricate to build, but will provide hours of entertainment putting it altogether. Includes a step by step instruction guide to follow with clear instructions. Recommended.
