Just a note traditionally these items are not worn together. Mariachi hats are worn with mariachi suits. Colorful serape ponchos are worn with straw sombreros. That said, they are well made.The hat is made of silver trim on the mariachi hat is nicely done.The serape poncho is 100% cotton and very colorful.Size wise they will fit children from approximately 8 years to small adults up to 5'5".

This hat is definitely a kids size. It says "One size fits most children" but didn't actually give the dimensions of the interior of the hat. It is pretty rigid so if you have a big head, it might not work but should work great for our need. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars as it isn't stretchy so if it doesn't fit perfectly, it could easily be too big or too small. The hat shipped in a big box so it wasn't smashed at all and came out of the bag looking great. Some of the decorative stitching was a little bit messed up but not something most people would notice.The poncho is very colorful and soft. Feels like good quality and is reinforced around the neck.Great kids costume.

Bring on the fun. Although I honestly got the sombrero to repurpose and glue lights and tulle and soft tufts on to create a cloud hat for a tornado for next Halloween, the great thing is you can use this twice...first as a traditional Mexican outfit, then do the cloud thing like me! LOL. Halloween twice.Nice smaller size. Comes with the poncho too.

This is a well-made and easy costume to wear, but the sombrero and poncho are really met for much larger children. The hat fits adults and the poncho goes to the floor on a 2.5-year-old. This is probably best for 8+, but can provide fun options for the whole family.
