The New York Times Explorer: Mountains, Deserts, & Plains

High quality and useful resource. We gave it to friend who happens to be a second grade teacher. Both he and his students loved it.

This book was such a disappointment. The photos were blurry and second rate. Much like anybodies travel photos.And the quality of the prints were also poor. Not much clarity or depth of color. I expected better and would not have ordered it if I had known.Definitely second rate for a coffee table photo book.

This book like all the volumes in the New York Times Explorer series is a great addition to my travel library. It is full of beautiful (and clear) color photos which nicely complement the accompanying text which I found very informative. The locations featured are varied with many off the usual "beaten path".

If you've visited some of these places, this book will whisk you back. If not, you'll be dying to go by the time you've finished leafing through the stunning photography and polished travel writing. It's a must-buy gift or a valued addition to the home library.

A gorgeous book for adventurous travelers that will fill your bucket list with more must-see places! Can highly recommend
