okay but too basic, very limited RPA value
Once you get past the extraneous and painfully smug author comments about advanced degrees, drive for excellence, and so many linkedin “friends”, the content does cover several core concepts. But it seems more written to the individual experience and pretty vanilla at that. I also don’t think simple quick pilots, justifying a project based on investments and outcomes, getting initial deployments from vendors for free/low costs, and being careful with using external talent to build internal skills brings anything new. Seems more like “if you’ve never done a project and your first one is RPA, this is your quick start guide”. For that audience, this might be helpful. To me tho it generally came across as a long magazine article and at $2 it was overpriced.

Good and Short Description of Main Efforts, Strategy and Outcomes in One Use Case
This is a good introductory book to RPA, where the author describes one organization experience when starting with RPA. Both business and IT aspects of such a journey are described and pros and cons of many decisions are explained. Although this is a non-technical book, I would advise to read it for both business and IT managers as early cooperation between them was one of the key factors of the overall success in implementing and adopting RPA in the author's organization. Technical details of this implementation are omitted, but one real world use case is mentioned - knowledge transfer from pre-retirement employees, which can be automated for benefits of any organization (this constitutes the perfect use case for RPA).

Great book on building the backbone of RPA strategy
The deployment models, the organizational structure, and the maturity models are explained in a detailed fashion. It answers the question of how to deploy RPA so it is our new strategic competitive advantage and our new catalyst to continuous improvement.

Clearly Explained How RPA Is Implemented
This was written from the perspective of a sizeable company but the author clearly expressed the principles so a smaller company could adapt the approach (there may be individuals performing several roles - but each role is clearly defined). Worth reading.

Garbage and misleading title
There is nothing to do with robotics here. A software automatation can be used a simple VBA. Everything here are common sense. Completely waste of time
