Its a cheap alternative to expensive iso cameras
I bought the camera so I could take pictures on Christmas Day and now we have kids and it's exciting to have memories when they opened the gifts and to see the joy on their faces. I test it out already and took a few pictures and I have to tell you the quality of the pictures is so good! much better than my phone and such small thing fits in my pocket I'm beyond being pleased I'm ready to make a lot of memories with this camera I have twins by the way and one them is already showing interest to take pictures. So its a cheap alternative to tjose expensive iso cameras.

Not worth it!
I know they warn you that this is not a camera for photographers, but when an experienced amateur photographer cannot get any decent shots out of this camera and over half the shots come out shaken despite the Anti-shake being on, then you have to wonder who this camera is for? They say great for kids and elderly - are they much better at holding the camera still? Also, it's not just about holding the camera still, the object you are photographing has to be totally still as well - especially if you are not outside on a sunny day, forget about evening photos even with flash. I bought 2 for my kids to use at camp where cell phones are not allowed, but I know there will be shots at night and that the kids are not doing to be totally still to pose, so this will not do at all. I have tried various settings such as changing MP and the ISO to accommodate conditions that are not outside in the sun, but still the pictures are streaky if anyone moves. The video is even worse!I had a standard mid range 5MP camera in 2001 that took far better pictures, nice and crisp in comparison to this one at 20MP! I guess I hoped to just get something close to a 18 year old technology.I am not really sure who I would recommend this camera for?Sending it back immediately, false advertising!

The manual has some errors but all is good now
I just received this today and wanted to do a quick review on my purchase. I will update this after I have used this a while but I thought I could help other future consumers about the confusion on the SD Memory card malfunctions. So the instructions say to insert the card with the label facing the LCD screen. This is not correct and it will cause your brand new card and camera to be defective. The label of the card goes inn facing the lens. Also you have to format the card first before it will read it. To do this just hit the menu button, that will bring up settings, scroll down and choose format. After that it. should work fine. I had my card in the right place at the end of all this and the battery door was closed but it still wasn't snapped in all the way so it wouldn't acknowledge the card. Everything worked ok but it was trying. As you can tell this camera is not a ”just point and shoot” camera but that is not such a bad thing, it just means the quality is a little better hopefully anyways. So far this has been a pretty good camera for the money and once I test this out more I will update this review.

Make sure SD card is all the way in!
Wrote a review that did not post. Only 1 Star. Couldn’t take more than 1 photo. Then I found that I wasn’t getting the SD card in far enough. Very frustrating. Until I did, I couldn’t format the card. Then the SD card was “protected” - you need to move the little tab on the side edge of the card and re-do the format steps. Finally got it to work and it seems fine. Did have to charge it up. Will update the review after my granddaughter takes a bunch of pictures with it.Pro’s:1. You can charge the battery without removing it. Just use the cable and plug into any USB outlet. Very convenient.2. You can dump the pictures to your desktop or laptop with the same cable. You don’t have to use the SD card, but the card can be taken to most major pharmacies like CVS to get prints. I’m going to use the SD card to put the photos on my iPad with the Apple lightning adapter for my granddaughter. It came with the SD card.Cons:1. It would be great to have built in WiFi, even if it was $10 or $20 more. I guess for the price.......2. It’s small and unbelievably light. Too much so for big hands.

Great Customer Service
Bought for Granddaughter to replace her last year's iShare Digital Camera, that is the same camera as this one, only name and color are different. She dropped it and the screen quit working, only showed 1/2 of photo. Loved it so much I replaced it with the same model. Called for information on using same SD card from old camera to new one, without the need to re-format. Customer Service called me almost immediately, with the answers I needed. Same SD can be used without re-formatting on the same model.... Thanks Amazon Customer Product Assistance... I Love Amazon....

Just ok
If you want audio, you might want to find another option. After recording a video, I could not listen to the audio on the camera. Once I uploaded to a computer, the audio cut out after about 10 minutes into the video. I asked Amazon for technical assistance which I did not receive. I tried to return the camera but it was outside return window so now I'm just stuck with it I guess. :-/

and so is very easy to travel with
I bought this as a supplement to the use of my iphone for photos. I was looking for a relatively inexpensive, small, and compact camera to snap photos when I travel. This fills the bill. (It should be noted that you need an SM card for memory). It is actually smaller than my iphone 7 plus (about half the size) and very light, and so is very easy to travel with. I just went to the local park and snapped some photos and I am very impressed with the quality thus far. This is a bargain for the price if you are looking for a compact camera.

Perfect first camera for 6 year old
After reading many reviews I chose to get this camera for my 6 year old daughter. The next best camera was a couple hundred more. Why spend all extra money when she is not planning on blowing up any of her pictures into poster size and that’s really the main difference in the cameras. She takes pics, she erases them. The camera goes everywhere with her and thanks to the attached wrist strap I’m not worried she will drop it. A great purchase for my budding photographer. Bargain price. Great product. I would recommend.
