I had been debating getting these for years now, but I finally caved in and got them. Honestly, I don’t regret it! Though I sometimes forget to grab for them, I find them to be a great option for multiple reasons and occasions.I love the 3 setting for quiet, experience, and engage. I find myself using experience the most for ear protection when I still want to hear music or I’m in a crowded event. I love using this setting while driving in my car with the music up and the windows down. It really helps block the sound of the wind and I can hear my music better without having to blast it at full volume. The quiet setting really does block out a lot of the chaos of the surrounding world if you want to focus on a task or even just stop the overstimulation of the world. I like using this setting in stores, especially the grocery store. The engage is the setting that I’m still trying to figure out, and which is ironically the main reason I decided to purchase these! I wanted to use them at my workplace when we get busy and I have trouble hearing customers. However I purchased them at a slow period of work and haven’t really had the chance to use them. But things are picking up and I will give them a second chance soon!The quality of the earplug is very nice. They are made of good material and are comfortable to wear and easy to switch between settings. Just remember which the placement of each setting so you know where to turn the dial! I do start getting a little sore after wearing them for extended periods of time, but I accredit that fact to my daith piercing needing to be pushed forward and it getting sore after a while. If it weren’t for that earring, I think I would have no problem keeping them in longer!The earplugs come with varied sizes of ear tips so that you can size it better to your ear. They are easy to clean, I use my earbud cleaning tool and running alcohol on them but you could also use a qtip or cleaning cloth.I like these a lot and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to protect their ears at concerts/clubs/bars or who just want to avoid an overstimulation meltdown at the grocery store!

I was skeptical regarding performance. Will these lower dB and maintain clarity? The answer is 'YES'. I had these for a while but didn't have the opportunity to use them. That changed this past weekend when I took a young friend to see Metallica. 5 hours, 3 bands, two nights...I was very concerned with long term hearing damage so I grabbed my pair of Loop Switches and put them in the moment the band started. This show was amazingly LOUD. The loudest rock show I believe I have ever heard. The Loop Switches were incredible. They brought the volume down to a highly manageable level. The switch feature allowed me to dial in my comfort level and I learned that switch seems to actually affect how much high frequencies come through. I ended up using the most extreme noise reduction level for these two nights of Metallica and my ears responded as if I never attended. That is, no ear fatigue, muted response, ringing, pain. The loop Switch was a heavy hitting hero. So glad I had these and absolutely recommend to anyone concerned with noise exposure.

I have always been somewhat noise sensitive. But lately I have been overwhelmed by noises so much that it sets off my anxiety and causes panic attacks. I am so glad I tried these. I recently took my kids to a county fair. As we know, lights and noises everywhere. It's sensory overload to the max. I put the Loop in it's highest setting "Quiet" while on rides. It worked so well that I was unaware during one ride that only 2 seats behind me was a child screaming and crying in fear during the entire ride. My kids were are all talking about it after the ride. The kid was literally screaming at the top of his lungs, apparently saying he was going to sue everyone and how he wanted off the ride and how he was going to puke on everyone. I heard zero of this, and the kid was just a few feet behind me. I just assumed everyone was laughing at the joy of the ride, but apparently it was this poor child scared out of his wits. I still heard the music while riding, but more muffled. So it definitely did the job. When I wasn't on the rides, depending on the area we were in, I would switch from the two bottom settings in order to hear conversations. There was not much difference in how much sound was blocked on these 2 settings. I didn't seem to notice much difference at all, but it did help me focus on the conversations near me and block out the other noises further away. During the fair I experienced no anxiety and no panic attacks, so I definitely feel this product did it's job. While the ear pieces are easy to put in, changing out the sizes is not so easy. I needed the extra smalls. One slipped on easy no problem but I really struggled to get the second one on. It seems the thickness of the pieces were just slightly off and not the same even though both were marked as extra small. I do notice a difference that one feels more comfortable than the other, however, it's not so uncomfortable that I can't wear it. I did not try these for sleeping so I cannot comment on that. I do like the case, so glad to have a place to keep them safe, and that the ear pieces are lightweight and comes in multiple color choices is a plus. Just a few tweaks to the 3 noise levels to make sure there is a better, noticeable difference and this would be the perfect product.
