The Bruder 02815 Mack Granite Tip Up Truck has been a great success. Both my 5 year old granddaughter and her father love it. It's large, sturdy with opening doors and bonnet. The 'tip up' has a swinging flap at the end to release the contents being carried - just like the real thing. It has provided my granddaughter with many happy hours of imaginitive play. A joy to watch.

Nice playability as well as good display model
This truck is nice - not only as toy even for as a display model :o) I bought it for my toddler daughter who pushes it around the room and carry loads of stuff. When my dautgher is not playing with it, I use it as a container for fruits on breakfast table! While ordering it, I was in dillemma whether to buy this one or the Scania dump truck. Finally I ordered this one as it looks better and bonnet can be opened (which is not possible in Scania cab-forward design). I can't comment on long term durability as it is only few weeks I received it. But my daughter has actually sat on top of Bruder tractor before which is still in one piece. Any gripes? Yes - minor ones :) The door mirrors are bit flimsy. The actual load bay is smaller than half-pipe dumptrucks (although the whole truck feels quite big due to 1:16 scale). Fuel tank and tool box (just below doors) are bit loose. Dashaboard could be improved with a sticker of dials.

Bought as a christmas present, it looks sturdy and is quite big. I was pleased with it and hope the lucky little boy at Christmas will love it as well.
