Magene C506
My first Magene purchase was a HR armband monitor which was accurate and affordable(~1/2 the price of Garmins) and I was happy with it. When I wasn’t able to update the maps on my Garmin 810 do to it’s ancient technology I decided on buying a new bike computer. The Garmins and the Wahoos were pretty pricey, and I understand that if your competitive, but I was just looking for an affordable, simple to use, computer. This little bike computer has a lot of bang for your buck(~$120.00). Simple to setup, easy to use, with all the bells and whistles I would ever need. Great navigation that you can setup in multiple screen. You can map your own routes that will create waypoints for turn by turn and street names. The unit is smallish but the bold fonts are easy to read even in bright sunlight. I normally don’t review products but this is such a bargain buy that I felt it was worth it.

Maps complicated to download, Device is fantastic for price
Had this device for about a day and tested with a short ride. The app can be a bit slow and poorly translated but overall it's easy to use and sends data and updates between phone and device easily. I had some issues getting the background maps for navigation downloaded. First you have to connect your device to wifi in the "wifi" section on the app, then go into your device, go to settings, maps, and hit download. then you can download maps for your specific regions. Pretty strange way of doing things but it works. The device itself records data accurately, the touchscreen is alright and may need a couple presses to register sometimes. The data display fields are easy to set up and very customizable. I take a less is more approach when it comes to my data displays (just wanna see elapsed time, hr, 3s second power, maybe np for certain rides), and the layout allow for all kinds of formats. This part is very very good. For the price this is an amazing little device and is great if you don't need all the fitness tracking and ai bs features from mainstream brands.

Not worth it - at all
DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU'RE PREPARED TO UPDATE IT BEFORE EVERY RIDE. This is absolutely pathetic. The people who make sell this POS should be ashamed of themselves, to say nothing of some of its weirder features, i.e. routing you home if you're even slightly off course when you start a ride. This thing is cheap for a reason, and it isn't a good one. You've been warned...

Nice computer
A little complicated to set up but all in all it’s a good computer. Better than spending 5x on a Garmin.
