Designed by Western "punching" guru, Bub Tosh, the Yamamoto PsychoDad is a small punch craw with the versatility to do everything else. It features huge round claws that act like swimbait tails and actually "paddle" when you swim the bait. It’s also the only craw with a built-in rattle chamber that’s big enough to hold a 7mm rattle. The PsychoDad even has extra plastic on its "tail" which will help it hold up on the new style straight shank punch hook with the barb keeper. No more having your bait balled up at the hook bend. Pair the PsychoDad with a big punch weight, a Paycheck Baits punch skirt, then put toss it in the nastiest mat you can find - and hold on! The PsychoDad is also great for Carolina-rigging, or as a jig trailer, and it even catches fish on a Shaky Head. You can also use it behind your Chatterbait for a different look. Whatever you need a soft plastic crawdad to do, the Yamamoto PyschoDad will get it done for you.

Lifelike and claws have air injected to float
Love everything about these baits. I have been most successful by rigging these with a VMC half moon wacky weight insert into the butt end of craw. Then using a wacky ring tool slide one senko ring over mid body where you use a VMC 2/0 weedless wacky hook pointing to the head and slide one senko ring over the butt weight to secure it. When you pop pop your rod and drag along bottom it gives such a lifelike presentation. It works and only these by Yamamoto do it correctly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Effective, but fragile. Get senkos!
You'll catch fish, but the craws get damaged VERY easily. Just a little nibble by a fish will tear the pinchers off. Even casting and reeling them in will begin to rip them at the joint. The rattle chamber usually tears apart upon loading/unloading a rattle.Overall fun to use, but you'll fly through a pack in a couple hours easy. Not worth the price. Get senkos instead.
