I've been using this UV sanitizer light for a few weeks now and it's quickly become part of my cleaning routine. The setup was straightforward - just screw it into a standard lamp socket and you're good to go. The remote control is a huge plus since you obviously need to leave the room while it's running.The timer function works great with options for 15, 30, or 60 minutes depending on the room size. I typically use the 30-minute setting for my living room which is about 200 square feet, and it seems effective. The motion sensor is quite sensitive - it beeps and shuts off immediately if anyone enters the room, which is reassuring from a safety perspective. Just make sure you turn off fans and close windows as even those movements can trigger the sensor.What I appreciate most is not having to use chemical cleaners as frequently. There's no way to "see" it working of course, but the room definitely feels fresher afterward. The sensor can be a bit too sensitive sometimes, shutting off when nothing seems to be moving. Also worth noting that you'll need to buy AAA batteries for the remote separately. Overall, it's become a useful addition to my home cleaning arsenal, especially during cold and flu season.

Changing myUpdated Review:First, I have to give 5 stars for the excellent customer service, which is hard to find these days. Initially, I planned to return my product after it stopped working following just one use.Unfortunately, due to vacation and business travel, I missed the Amazon return window. I reached out to the seller to see if they would still accept a return, and they were incredibly helpful. They worked with me to troubleshoot the issue and offered to send replacement bulbs. Communication was great throughout the process. When I finally received the shipment, I didn’t have a chance to open and test it until weeks later due to more travel. To my surprise, they had sent a full replacement unit, not just the bulbs. So far, it's working —time will tell if it lasts beyond just one use..................................I tested the product for 15 minutes and it worked well. However, when I tried it for 30 minutes, it only worked once.I believe I may have received a defective unit, as it does not seem to be suitable for a large room but rather for a smaller space like a bathroom. I did not notice any significant impact from the product other than a metallic smell in the room.

Great item. I use it most to sterilize my grow room, fridge, bathroom, and more after cleaning or inbetween cleanings.However 🤷🏼‍♂️ I can not quantitativly state how well it works.. I can say that the safty systems this device has, and the fact that i havnt had ANY issues in my growroom since I began using it. When before I would always have some sort of an issue when only sterilizing manually.The one reason for not giving it 5 stars which kinda contradicts my previous statement in regards to its safety. Which isn't a bad thing but more of a slight annoyance. The "human/pet" detection system is sensitive i would usually place the device inside a tent and close it or would put into room and close the door for it to work for 30-60min and would sometimes detect me in the next room. (oddly it happens more frequently when I lock it in a room "without windows" vs being in the same room but it being within an enclosed tent)(is not because it's missing a feature(s), because I do have some features to be included but that adds complexity and this product was made a purpose and it seems to fulfill that.)

Can’t really recommend this product. It seems a little bit unrefined. It shuts off when it’s in a room by itself. It’s supposed to shut off if someone or a pet gets near it but whatever sensor it has seems overly sensitive. Also, as others have noted it has a power button on the base, but it does not work. Feels like someone rushed this out into retail.

The sensor that’s supposed to detect someone entering a room is to sensitive. I’ve done everything to try and get it to be able to last for the timers duration but it continues to shut itself off. To make sure I wasn’t mistaken because how would you know unless you have a camera in the same room because if you get close to the door to open and enter the room it’s in you might think it just shut itself off to keep you safe but the one I received that wasn’t the case. So I watched the camera from my phone to see it shut itself off after only a couple minutes. I’ve turned off all the lights closed the curtain, placed the unit in the middle of the room and it just doesn’t matter. Maybe living in the city is to much for the unit. I don’t know. I wonder how many people out there are having the same outcome but are unaware because they won’t go in until the time is up?

This was the best purchase I’ve made in a long time. It worked like a charm on bedbugs in an hour. I would recommend for sure

These seem to make the house smell freshly cleaned and no bugs.

Does not seem to do much I had a better quality one and I could smell it in the room. This might work well in very small areas.
