'Fantastic Trainers But Watch Your Sizes'
As a regular walker I often do 'laps' of a little track that I have found for myself near to my home. Each 'lap' is about 60-65 paces but I walk as fast as I can rather than just 'saunter' so my trainers do need to be durable to take the strain even though I am not running. The track is not strictly round either - more of a kind of 'figure of eight' so my weight shifts from one leg to the other each lap.I grew up with the brand 'Slazenger' and so decided to try these when my old pair of trainers finally gave up the ghost. Reading other reviews here I was advised to go for a size larger than that I would normally order. This I did - ordering a size 11 when I am normally only a size 10. This proved crucial for as nice as these trainers are they are definitely on the small size. Even with a size 11 these are a 'snug' fit but then I often wear quite thick socks. If you feel, however, that you have a 'large foot' then maybe even going for two sizes up from your normal might be worthwhile? Other than that though I would stick to the 'one size up' rule. These trainers are solid to the touch and are well made. They are initially quite stiff to the touch but do not rub your feet as the insides 'breathe' the more you walk in them and the lining inside is very comfortable. They are also quite smart looks wise being a nice, bright white colour and so would not look out of place when 'worn for best' if matched with the right accessories. For the price I feel they are tremendous value and I am considering buying a second pair when I can afford it to make sure I have a reserve or 'best' pair while these are available.I haven't worn these that many times at the time of writing this review so time will tell whether any 'unforseen so far' negatives come to light about these but so far I am pretty confident that I have picked up a real bargain and that you should too!

Comfortable shoes
I've had several pairs of these over the years and this pair are as good as previous ones. Good fit and comfortable.

ALL FINE
Disposable shoes. I buy maybe 6 pairs a year (the same but for small design & color changes) & have done for years. Good for dog walking (well trained German Shepherds, off lead, remote areas, demanding walks), cheap, reliable. I walk around 10 miles a day, 5 days a week, mostly in these, over rocky & stony beaches, country paths, etc. They're exposed to salt water, rain, mud, sand, & everything that destroys trainers. Designer trainers last no longer, perform no better, & cost silly bucks. I'm also a corporate photographer working in industrial, deep ocean, coastal, construction, engineering & manufacturing environments (oil, dirt, blah) & I wear these anywhere safety boots/PPE aren't mandated. I just chuck them when they're done, get a fresh pair from the shelf, restock when necessary. Costs around £150 a year, works fine for me.

Better made than Reebok Classics
I used to buy Reebok classics, which are 2-3 times the price of these, but the construction quality of them was really poor; low quality leather and poor stitching. These are great value and significantly better quality. I byy one pair each year and wear them a lot, I clouding for work and going out. They start to look shabby after a year so I replace them, and I often have reglue the sole in places, but I still wear the old pair often for cross country running or walking, so the newest ones remain fairly smart. Good value.
