They work like they should and they are cheap
Son wanted some electronics to play with. These motors let him play and learn and they seem to work. The lead for the motor are pretty weak but other than than they seem to work well.

Tricky connectors
Although you get motors for a good value, they are hard to connect to a circuit. Even with high gauge (thin wires), the connector tabs break off very easily. Also, the connector tabs are so small, it is hard to get and alligator clip to grasp to complete a circuit. If you are able to complete a circuit by some miracle, the motor does work. These are good for simple electrical circuits since the motor isn't too powerful.

The shortened the internals to make the coils lower to safe a couple extra bucks…
