Great under the counter organizational tool!
Very happy to find this roll-out lid/tray organizer. It was a perfect solution to my deep, under the counter cabinets where everything seems to get lost in the back. Pros: This unit was very easy to install and I am not the "do it yourself" type. Comes with clear and simple instructions. Instructions include words and visuals. All you need is a Philips screwdriver and a drill with a Phillips screwdriver bit. First you attach the pot lid holder loops to the top/sliding base. These are simple finger nuts that you tighten with the provided tool. Next you use the easy placement guide to find the correcting mounting placement for your base. This is a cardboard piece that folds over the lip of your shelf and assures that once mounted and put together, your cabinet drawers will close. You then use your drill with a Phillips screwdriver bit and attach it to the bottom of your shelf using the four provided wood screws. Finally you attach the top sliding part with 4 screw and a hand Phillips screwdriver. It is recommended that you don't use your power screwdriver or drill for this step. Don't worry. This is easy to do with a hand screwdriver. My 8 year old even helped. That's it. You are done! Took me about 30 minutes to install and that included emptying out the cabinet first. Nice, heavy duty ball baring slides. Movement is smooth and easy, even with it fully loaded with my cast iron pot lids. Whole thing is well made and heavy duty. Nice looking chrome. Put together it is solid and sturdy. Very glad I purchased this instead of a cheaper wire one. This will not bend or brake with my heavy cast iron pot lids. Curved handle at the front of the rack makes it easy to pull out and push back into your cabinet. Cons: Yes, it does not extend fully like other models. It extends out about 3/4 of the way. Still works for my us, but this might be a deal breaker to some. If you have a repositionable/removable shelf and you want to mount this unit to it, you will need to buy an L bracket or two and attach the shelf to the back wall/cabinet. Again an easy fix, but if you don't do this little extra step, when you pull out the organizer the weight shifts on your shelf and the back of the shelf comes up, tilting the whole shelf forward. This unit claims it hold up to 18 lids. I guess it is possible if they are smaller lids, fully loaded mine is able to hold 3 large lids, 4 medium lids, and 2 small lids, for a total of 9 lids. All of my lids have handles including about half having loop handles as opposed to knob handles. Claims you should have 2 inches of clearance on each side of the tray when the rack is placed on the top. Because my lids have loop handle, I have several larger lids, and because of the inside mounting hardware of my cabinet doors, I found it was best to place it about 4 inches from the inside wall. The correct placement of your organizer will depend what you are going to store on it and the mounting hardware of your cabinet doors.

Lynk Makes The Best Roll-Outs
This roll-out lid/pan holder is well-designed and easy to install. It took me about 30 minutes from start to finish — including the time it took to clear out the cupboard, measure and mark the holes, drill and secure the base, vacuum up the sawdust, and attach the lid-holder rack. I put it in one of our larger, knee-level kitchen cupboards and it's made a huge difference in terms of neatness and organization. The holder glides in and out quietly and with ease. And it holds both pot lids and cookie sheets securely in place (no tipping over, or rolling away). Thanks to the easy-to-follow directions, I got this right the first time and didn't need to readjust. It also helps that I've installed several other roll-outs in our cupboards, although this was the first pan/lid holder. As with many knee-level cupboards, ours all have shelves in the back half. I knew going in that this might interfere with the rack, so I planned ahead and altered the installation so that the lid-holder rack descends in height from the front (tallest) to the back (shortest). If I'd installed it the other way around, as recommended, that back shelf would've prevented the rack from sliding all the way into the cupboard. We've also purchased several roll-out baskets over the years for installation in our kitchen cupboards. The first few were a different brand and they were fine baskets. Sturdy and secure. But after our first Lynk, we've purchased nothing but Lynk. In terms of design, quality, and ease of function, there is no comparison to Lynk. They are hands down the best in my opinion. Worth the few bucks difference in price. However, and I can't stress this strongly enough, be sure to measure your cupboards ahead of time. And then, after you measure them, measure them again. Then look at the product specs and be absolutely sure that the product will fit inside your cupboards with at least 1.5 inches to spare on all four sides. As much as it seems like a hassle to measure first, I guarantee you it will be a much bigger hassle when you discover during installation that the item you purchased doesn't fit. Just go measure it. Do it now. Go.

Works well for me
I bought the 14" wide, larger model. Checked all parts in the package for # and good quality. Emptied cabinet and placed the top unit in to make sure everything would fit even though I measured before buying. Installation was easy, rack works great. I placed things based on what would not create issues with a handle dropping down between rack spaces. put 1 lg, 1 med, 2 small and 2 tiny pans in front half, along w 1 lid and 1 strainer. In the back 3 more lids and 2 strainers. Seems solid!

Fantastic Customer Service | Great Lid Organizer
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM LYNK: One of the bolts that secures the the organizer "loops" to the frame sheared off while I was tightening it. I contacted Lynk through their webpage and asked for a replacement. I received a reply in less than 24 hours from Dennis in their customer service department. He promised that the replacement part would leave their warehouse in a day or two. The package arrived via UPS four days later. Needless to say, I was impressed. No company has perfect quality controls. Sometimes a part will arrive damaged, or in this case, break while being installed. However, few companies have quality customer service that quickly remedies the issue without forcing the customer to jump through hoops. Kudos to Lynk. I'm inclined to buy more of their products based on this experience. DESIGN: The design is simple and does what it should. Pan lid "loops" run in parallel and allow for the safe storage of a variety of pan lids types and sizes. I have Calphalon pans with handle lids pulls rather than nobs. All of them fit perfectly, including a very large, very curved stir-fry pan lid that's ginormous and doesn't fit in any of the lid organizers I've used before. The lids don't rattle too much when pulling the organizer out or pushing it back in. I fit a total of seven lids into the organizer without issue. INSTALLATION: I installed this in my kitchen island right next to a Lynk Professional 11-by-21-by-14-Inch Roll-Out . I use the shelves for my pots and pans and the lid organizer for, you guessed it, lids. They work in tandem very well. Just leave the required 2-inches of room on each side (or in this case between them) to allow them to function properly. Installation is very simple. Some have criticized the Lynk organizers for not mounting to the sides of the cabinet interior like Rev-A-Shelves. In my opinion that's unfair; the two organizers have different uses. For my application (a kitchen island with two bays 31" wide with double "pop out" doors) I needed organizers that would mount to the underside of the cabinets. Any other sort would not work at all. I ran into a bit of a hiccup: my cabinets have a 1/4 inch "lip" along the base of the cabinet. It impedes the glides from pulling out, rendering the organizer useless. I explored a few ideas on how how to remedy the issue including: 1) removing the trim piece and cutting it down 1/4 of an inch 2) installing a 1/4 inch riser using hardwood strips 3) using fender washers to raise the glides. I opted for option #3, fender washers. I bought a box of 1" x #8 fender washers from my local hardware store along with 4x 1.25" pan-head self-drilling wood screws. 4x washers stack to exactly 1/4 inch, so I needed 16 total. I pre-drilled 1/16th inch pilot holes into the bottom of the cabinet and then installed the glide frame atop the washers. Other than the run to the hardware store, the whole process took no more than fifteen minutes. For each Lynk organizer you want to raise over your lip, you'll need a multiple of 1" fender washers that stacks to the right height. If you have a lip much higher than 1/4", I would suggest buying hardwood strips and gluing / screwing them into the cabinet bottom rather than using washers. For my application, the washers worked great. At .18 USD each, it cost me about $4.00 total in hardware including the screws. For the price, the Lynk organizers are a better deal that Rev-A-Shelves. Rev-A-Shelves are quite nice as well, but unless you want the functionality of independent pull drawers AND have the ability to install by attaching to the sides of your cabinets, the Lynk organizers will serve you well. I plan to buy more of them and install them in other cabinets in the future. Overall, I'm very pleased with this organizer and even more pleased with Lynk as a company.

Must have for every kitchen
I know this is advertised for lids but I wanted it for cookie sheets and flat longer cookware. Super easy to install. The space I needed to mount it in was small but I was able to do it myself. I did not have to make my husband install any of the kitchen. Sliding shelves. I was able to do them all myself. So definitely easy to do. This unit is very well made of strong durable metal that slides very easy and is not flimsy. Very versatile for many kitchen needs. Fits great and gives easier access for storage space. Absolutely great buy

rolls out smoothly
I love this item. It pulls out so smoothly that I pull it too hard sometimes and rattle the lids in it. It will also fit frying pans and cookie sheets. I love these slide out organizers! Our cabinet is small and there's not much room to slide lids in the back so we put the large lids in the front and the smaller ones fit easier in the back. We also have one of the rails backwards with the taller part in the front so that it's easier to get one of the middle sized lids in the back. The only thing that hinders the use of this item is that it doesn't slide out all the way. The back lids are still inside the cabinet when it's pulled out all the way. So it's hard to get the larger lids in back there. But the small ones fit in the back. If they could make this item slide out four more inches this would be a FIVE STAR rating. It may be that they can't have it slide out any further for some reason, but that was the only thing I was disappointed in. However, even due to that, I still would recommend this item. It was super easy to install and is very sturdy. And it does really glide nicely.

Great product
This is the third LYNK product we have bought and have been very pleased. Easy to install with good instructions. As another writer commented, we installed it with the tall hoops first to avoid dealing with a shelf. Also take time to check the side clearance - poythandles stick out. We used 3.5 inches.
