I bought this barber chair for my home barbershop, and it's been awesome. It's super sturdy and reclines smoothly, which is perfect for comfortable cuts. The black and silver look is sharp too. It was a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and how much I use it.

This chair was a pleasant surprise. I got this for my daughter in law, who is a professional stylist. She often gets asked to cut hair for family members and friends, so when she got space in her basement I got her this chair. I was surprised at how professional this chair is (with one small exception I'll mention later). This thing in rock solid - no cheap or flimsy parts. The leather is gorgeous and the seat is extremely comfortable. It swivels/turns smoothly and the mechanism for raising and lowering the chair is heavy duty and works smoothly. She absolutely loves the chair and compares it favorably to the chairs in her high-end salon. Assembly required, but not difficult. This was actually delivered by a trucking company!The only nit I had was the rather small headrest/support. It looked rather small to me. That being said, it is attractive, functional and comfortable. So, no stars deducted. Finally, I thought the price was a bit steep. But, according to my daughter in law, this is a bargain for the price. The quality you are getting justifies the price.

No instructions and everything looked half open

I've been using this tattoo/barber chair for several months now, and here's my take on it:It's heavy. Despite the 2-man carry warning on the box, I watched our UPS man wallow it down the drive by himself (so unsurprisingly the box was all beat up). Thankfully they did a good job packing this thing so nothing was damaged other than the box.Assembly was a pain in the butt. I don't recall exactly how long it too me, but it was definitely longer than I had expected. Why is that you ask? Well, it comes with a slew of bolts to connect the armrests, and those bolts use a (provided) allen wrench. However the holes the bolts were going into were not properly threaded the whole way. So I'd get part way in, and the bolt would lock up. I was cranking so hard on the wrench that I ended up stripping out two bolts that were already embedded. So I have a few bolts that are not entirely properly installed, but there's nothing I can really do about it.The seat is not the most comfortable, but it's not terrible.The chair does look pretty sick though. It definitely has that old-timey feel, which I really love.It reclines and does so without a whole lot of extra effort, so that's cool.Personally I think this is more along the lines of a $300-$400 chair, not $600+. At its current pricepoint, I shouldn't have bolts that won't thread in the whole way.

This chair is a heavy piece of equipment which will hold up for years. The upholstery material is great, substantial and well stitched. While heavy it is easy to assemble but easier with two people. Hydraulics work easily, chair turns and reclines easily. A great piece of equipment and a good value.

My wife is the one with a cosmological license. She has always wanted a nice chair for her clients and this is just perfect. It's not overly huge, it's like half assembled also. I was expecting much worse to be honest. We were very pleasantly surprised!! Now we have a super comfy chair for that small business. Highly recommended

This chair is beautiful! The leather is so luxurious! This is a very nice chair. It also comes mostly assembled. It is also adjustable. Very nice!
