I decided to give these 5-HTP capsules a try because I struggle with low moods, stress and anxiety. I was looking for a natural alternative as I didn’t want to go down the route of prescription medication.After taking them for over a week, I’ve definitely noticed a difference. I feel much calmer throughout the day and those overwhelming moments of stress don’t hit as hard as they used to. My mood feels much better and I generally feel more positive without that constant anxious feeling in the background.I also really like that these capsules are natural, vegan friendly and made to high quality standards. They’re easy to take and have quickly become a part of my daily routine.

Very high quality, you can feel the effect within a day, I used other similarly well priced 5HTP supplements and they were not this effective. I usually take 1 capsule one day and then 2 the next day and there's a noticeable mood improvement.

I took these capsules for over a month now, and although I noticed some improvement in my mood, it wasn't sufficient for me to carry on with this product, or this dose. That may be because I need something stronger or a combination supplement, so I don't want to give them a negative review, but people who have chronic conditions might want to double their dose, if they are comfortable doing so and have their GPs approval.

Very good, but you need to shop around to find a version at the right dosage for the use to put them to; in my case getting off to sleep. Ideally, I'd have preferred half the dose that's in these.

Ive been using these 5-HTP capsules for a couple of weeks now, and while I find it challenging to sleep for long periods. Ive definitely noticed an improvement in the quality of my sleep. Before trying these I used to toss and turn a lot but now feel restless at night. When I do sleep, it feels deeper and I wake up feeling more rested than before, even if I don't manage to get as many hours as Id like. I also really like that these capsules are natural and vegan-friendly. The recommended dosage is 2-4 capsules a day and Ive found that taking the full dosage works best for me. For now, Ill definitely keep taking them and see how they continue to help.

I used these at bedtime as per the instructions but I can't say I felt any real improvement in my sleep, others may have more success but for whatever reason wasn't effective for me.

I bought this for someone else. They have tried it and said that it is working for them. So I would say a thumbs up for it.

These supplements arrive in a plastic container with labels on it that are branded “fmula+”. They certainly look the part, and the description on this page sounds good. However, after a bit of digging, it is very hard for me to trust these claims, or have any faith in this product.It is stated in the description that these supplements are “Manufactured in the UK to the GMP code of practice using quality ingredients”. However, the address given on the label and website for formulaplus is just a virtual office in Lemington Spa.Most damning of all, there isn’t any mention of where these supplements are actually manufactured, nor by who. And Companies House has no record of any company trading under the names “fmulaplus” or “fmula+”.Given the lack of regulation for supplements, it is important to know exactly where said supplements are made and by whom before putting them into your body.
