Question 1

Exactly how small are the small caps?  My cat has been very smart when using the "pill pockets" and will eat around it with the regular capsules.

Help for those with cats wise to pill pockets! Try Tomlyn Pill-Masker. Unfortunately the cost has risen considerably, as I've been buying it for $4 for years now, last buy it was $8 all the sudden, but still a  far cry from pilc pocket cost. For cats, the pill-pockets are huge- way to big for a cat NOT to have to bite into the pill, and then never eat the 'bad treat' again, lol. Tomlyn is a container of goop- chicken or bacon flavor. I take a small pinch, roll it into a tiny ball, flatten & drop my pill in the middle and roll it back up. Now, unless your cat tries to eat every treat around in 1 bite, you could be good here. If not, don't waste your chance letting him/her get the smell of it down. I did once & he never ate another only masked pill. Then, I started to crush my real treats into powder and give them a few of the real ones first, then a few more with the "bad pill" rolled in treat- that also worked great for a long time. If over time they figure that out, make a pill masked sandwich with 1 treat, 1 masked pill and another treat on top, give it a good press- or slightly wet finger rolled treat, to make it stick well, goes down nearly every time. Been using this trick for at least 2 yrs- works like a charm. They have two flavors (maybe more know), I rotate them to keep kitty off the trail. If you need another diversion, combo treats- give a few different flavored/scented treats to keep them from finding the one they dont want. Try to get the pill masked 100%, but also very thin so little to no biting into it has to happen. Mine gets 2 pills a day 1 at night and 1 in the am, 1 bottle lasts me at least 4-6 months.  No issues getting his meds down, which is a blessing! Good luck all! :)

is the product shipped on ice?

I have tried contacting the seller about this product.. The product was WARM when it arrived.  It came with an ice pack which had melted and the ice pack was warm.. My vet gave me an icepack when I bought from her and I only live 10 minutes away.. I am wondering if the product is still good after being warm?

Has your Azodyl been 100% refrigerated? Does the $4.95 S&H include overnight with ice-packs because it's active compounds will die?

They do not ship it refrigerated. My last 2 were warm when received. Don't believe lie that it can last 10 days unrefridgerated

No. Not even shipped with ice packs so how could it be cold.
