Just installed in my flying wing that I built myself and look forward to taking it out for a maiden next week. I have used this same ESC in other builds and have a 60 Amp in one of my larger DIY built planes. Great product works very well and if paired properly with the correct motor and prop it should work like a charm. I can say with test It does get warm but I have not had one fail on my yet. Great product!

It immediately exploded the moment I plugged it into my Li-Po battery. I checked it with a multimeter and sure enough, the item is defective. The package it comes with is stapled as well.

Upgraded the motor on my Parkzone Corsair and needed a bigger ESC than what came with it. Didn't want to shell out big bucks for a name brand ESC, so I thought , for the price, I'd give this one a try. I'm glad I did! Performs as well as other ESC's at twice the price. I have well over 30 flights (each lasting 6-7 minutes) and this unit has performed flawlessly. I just ordered another to install in my T-28 after upgrading its motor. Plays a nice little tune when its arming too. I highly recommend this ESC if you are needing a 40 amp esc but don't want to spend a lot of your hard earned bucks!

I am using it with ducted fan foam jet, and 4 cell lipo. So far it’s flying, doesn’t seem to overheat, but it did take me down to low power at one point. I don’t know if it’s because the lead wires are a bit skimpy. I’d say it’s a good value. If you don’t overload it . the default settings are pretty good and you really need the programming device for 10 bucks. If you wanna program it as it’s almost impossible to do from the transmitter.
