A Cars Christmas (Step into Reading)

This book is a huge favorite in my preschool class!!! I teach 2&3 year olds and both boys and girls love this book! The book has all the movie characters, not just Lightning McQueen and Mater! Had to order a second book so that I had a back-up when the original wears out. Fun Christmas book that your Cars lover with be excited about!

My 4 year old loves this book, it is a great addition to our Xmas collection.

I am swooning over the holiday artwork, it's so cute! This book is 32 pages and while there isn't a solid plot line throughout you do get to check in with all of your favorite characters and what they're doing for the holidays. I know my boys are going to love reading this for the holidays!

Great book

This is a level 1 'ready to read' book... very nicely written three to six words per page along with beautiful illustrations incorporate everyone in Radiator Springs in this story. No 'one' character is a main character for this book which makes it nice too. Also the lines all 'rhyme' from page to page which makes it almost 'singing' as you read it. Just a nice Holiday book to read expressing the caring and giving time of year.

Use this as a guide for my 3 yr old granchild to introduce following the words as I read.

I bought this book for my sons Christmas class book exchange. The boy who got this book, his Mom text me to tell me her son loved it!

Fun, engaging and reading level appropriate books. We love these as the characters pull in the kids which helps us to encourage early literacy. They love to see their favourite on screen characters on the pages.

Tolle Geschichte, hoffentlich wird die mal verfilmt

A Really brilliant title from this series - simple and direct but a great step into independent reading. This is a very basic title in terms of vocabulary, so if your child is more advanced look at some of the Step Into Reading Level 2 titles which are more complex. The series currently goes up to level 5. Most of your favourite Car characters feature in this book. If you find this book is at the right level (Nursery/KS1) then you might want to consider some other "Cars" titles such as: Old, New, Red, Blue - cool book introducing colours and opposites, abstracts Good Buddies - Mater and Lightning McQueen There are quite a few more Cars titles. Bolt is in there as well. Also there's a great Toy Story Title, "Me, Too Woody" with Woody and Buzz and Jessie. This is very cool, because it is kind of a social story as well as great fun, it deals with Woody and Buzz not wanting Jessie to join in their games, and why they should let her play with them. And the perennial "Thomas comes to Breakfast" and many other favourite Thomas Titles, such as "Percy and the Dragon". There are also wonderful girls books on the subject of Barbie, Disney Princesses, The Princess and the Frog and Tinkerbell. Also Non-fiction titles for slightly older kids to help with school projects, themes. Simply the best and such great value for money. Brill! You can pick up four for under a tenner. Don't forget the ones that go out of print that go in new and used for a penny. To see if an old favourite was in the series, put in "Step into Reading" and the key words you're looking for. (Couple of mine was Bear in the Big Blue House and Cookie Monster published a while back, no longer in current series.) Enjoy!
