OtterBox iPhone 16 Commuter Series Case - Black

This is my third Otterbox Commuter Series case in the last several years. Each time I have needed to buy one for new phones or because the little flap covering the phone's charging slot was wearing away, never because the case was broken. Otterbox is a well-known and well-regarded company for phone cases, and this is another winner in their lineup. I recently got a new phone and accidentally dropped it from about 3 feet up onto the street. Perhaps a little naively I wasn't too concerned, because Otterbox had never failed me before - sure enough, the phone was perfectly fine, and the case wasn't even dented to boot. It works, and my still-functioning phone is a testament to it. I would (and do) recommend this to anyone looking for a sleek phone case. Not compensated for this review.

We bought this otter box for our son’s new phone. It is very nice. Protects our son’s phone. Our son has seizures so it is very important that the new phone is protected. That is why we bought the otter box from Amazon. We highly recommend this for anyone who needs their phone protection.

This case does exactly what it needs it to do—protects my phone without making it huge in my pocket. The OtterBox Commuter Series strikes a great balance between being tough and still feeling slim. It’s not as bulky as the Defender, but you still get that solid, two-layer protection that OtterBox is known for. The case has a slightly grippy texture, so I’m not constantly worried about dropping my phone, and the buttons are easy to press—not stiff or mushy like some cheaper cases. I also really like the little port covers to keep out lint and dust, especially since I carry my phone in my pocket most of the day. It fits the iPhone 16 perfectly and didn’t interfere with my screen protector at all. Wireless charging works through the case just fine, too, which was a must for me.

I purchased this for my son's phone, it was easy to put on his phone, it was durable and not too bulky for his pocket. Worked well with his phone, fit great. It works good and keeps his phone safe and was easy to hold and didn't slide around.
