Came as expected
I ordered this book for my test preparation. It is coming handy to solve practice problems although it has rather tough problems compared to other sources.

Good to have but not necessary
I dont think this book helps as much for me passing PE. I work on the problems as I finished the chapter at CERM, just to hone in the knowledge I get from reading and doing CERM examples. But some people like to over prepare and may want to get this book.

Not as useful with new test format
Is a comprehensive book of study problems that are more in depth than the NCEES practice exam. Has practice problems over all PE Civil exams. However, up to a third of the problems I did were not solvable with the equations that are provided by NCEES during the exam. If you are taking the PE before the next edition comes out, spend your time wisely on problems that you can actual solve with the NCEES equations. Once a new edition comes out that is tailored to the current exam format, DO NOT BUY.

Good practice, but overall too complex and contains many errors
This book contains over 900 problems. There are 80 problems on the PE exam. Granted, there is a large pool of questions, but this book is generally overkill when it comes to many of the topics covered on the exam. Many of the solutions are incorrect as well.
