Q: Can you use this on jewellery? Like costume jewellery?

I have successfully freshened up some of my vintage costume jewellery with this product. It doesn't work with everything, but worth a punt.

Q: Will this be heat prof if i use on my cooker

I would check with manufacturer, I have only used it on an ornament.

Q: Could i plate a gold ring to silver with this solution?

I don't think so as the ring would have to be done in a specialist tank. The solution is ideal for articles that have already being silver plated to bring the luster

Q: Could i use this to coat a stainless steel chain as im allergic to steel

It didn't work for me when applying to a steel lamp base (I know it was steel as I tested it with a magnet). However it worked well on brass. Instructions on bottle don't list steel. It lists hard based metals such as brass and copper as being ok.
