This product line is awesome. We rent an old farmhouse in a rural town on well water. The rust and hard water buildup is crazy. Years and years with all kind of products just went nowhere. Then a friend mentioned using this with a pumice toilet wand and I figured we would try. Used the liquid cleaner and it literally melted the iron stains on the sides of the bowl. The tablet has helped keep the bowl from rebuilding a stain and seems to be helping with the interior of the tank. Combined with the pumice stone we went from an hour of scrubbing to maybe 10 minutes each week, and looking so much better

These work SO well on our toilets. We get so much rust and these are great!

Not as effective as the bleach filled tablets but no bleach smell is great.

Did not work for me... nothing changed after I put it in the tank...still rust stains in bowl and tank... both were thoroughly cleaned before I used it

These work on rust and calcium buildup. However, as others have mentioned, when the tablet has dissolved, it leaves a slime on the bottom of the tank. I used a long handled plastic spoon to stir it up, then flush. That takes care of it.

We live in an area with hard water and without something the toilets no matter how much you clean them get a buildup. This product has always worked like a dream. Pop on tablet in your tank and you are good to go until now.....same packaging but the tablet is different. It is a different shape, it feels different and it acts differently. Old vs New tablet lasted a month - tablet now lasts maybe 2.5 weeks tablet used to fully dissolve - tablet now has a funky sack like blob left over tablet used to keep water tank and toilet bowl both clean - tablet now only keeps bowl clean Even after tablet was dissolved, I at times would forget to put a new one in and my toilet bowl stayed clean into the next month - now tablet is not fully dissolved, we aren't even at the 2 week mark and bowl is already getting rust stains Rust stains used to come back gradually - rust stains are back before the month is up. So I am thinking they "new and improved" this product and as often happens it doesn't last as long or do the job nearly as well as it used to.

I rent an apartment. Everything was redone before I moved in a few years ago, except they kept the old toilet bowl. I tried clorox inside the tank to clean EVERYTHING from the inside out to remove the rust stains continually building up. I ordered Pumice bars, specifically made to remove rust stains inside the bowl, by hand scrubbing with gloves on. Long story short, I read a lot online and this small item, Rust-Oleum Rust Guard was mentioned as a miracle cleaner for rust. I bought it at another store. Tried it, and followed the instructions very carefully. It’s placed inside the tank, and with every flush the rust stains are being removed. I ran out of the product, and found it at Amazon. It’s the only product I’ll EVER use to keep a white looking toilet bowl. Use it, you won't regret it!!!
