A bit basic, needs care to fit just right, and can catch trunk contents occasionally, but works much better than I expected. Good value.

I bought these support hinges for a TV cabinet that has a drop-down door at the front. The Amazon description stated as follows: Wide Application: Suitable for making furniture that flips, pulls down to open, and pulls up to open/close. I doubted that the same hinge would give damping for both drop-down and hinge-up doors, so I was prepared for the worst. Sure enough, when they arrived they provided soft-close for hinge-up doors only. So if you have a door that opens upwards, these hinges should work just fine out of the box. However, I needed soft-open for drop-down doors. As they were so cheap I decided to see if they can be modified to work for drop-down doors. And sure-enough, they can do so, with a very simple two minute job. Anyone with a modicum of common sense can do this but it will void any warranty, so please do this at your own risk. Place the hinge flat on a table with the Allen key bolt facing up, Undo the bolt with the key provided and swap the arm on the left over to the right hand side. So, the left arm is now the right arm! This reverses the resistance and enables you to use these hinges with a drop-down door. Please note there are some small pieces in the circular centre of hinge ( six small metal bearings/rollers) which will become loose in this process, so be ready to catch them and pop them back in (a pair of tweezers might help but I didn't need them myself). It's really very simple to do. Just take your time and with a little care anyone should be able to do it. Make sure all the pieces are aligned properly and re-tighten the Allen Bolt. They now work perfectly, providing good damping on a drop-down door. As I said, this will void any warranty, so please do this at your own risk. Hope that helps someone out.

Does the job, you do have to adjust them alittle but we only needed 1 hinge per top box. Which was good! As i ordered to per topbox.

Found these to be very useful for my cabinet making project and great value at the Amazon price ! When open fully they lock nicely but are slim enough not to get in the way inside the cabinet when closed.

Not what I had hoped for instructions are terrible and I still think I have them upside down Keep lid open but no soft close once lowering. Let’s see if they stan the time test

Gute Verarbeitung, etwas knifflige Installation, solide Funktion. Bei der Langzeithaltbarkeit ist noch nicht das letzte Wort gesprochen - es könnte trotz der Qualität etwas wackelig werden über längere Zeit.

Eficaz

Ich habe einen Hängeschrank zwecksentfremdet ,die klappen die sonst nach unten aufgehen , gehen jetzt nach oben auf. Mit den Klappenhalter eine sehrschöne Sache, auch das einstellen der Klapphalter mit imbusschlüssel kein Problem.
