Great machine for general use, development and maxing out games up to 1440p
This is a beast of a machine and pretty decent value. I needed a new PC. My previous 2 desktops had been pre-owned ex-office stock older i5s from "an auction site" - where I had "forced" Windows 11 on to them. They had done the job but with higher demands on the systems from me using various developer tools - I needed something better. I'm not a stranger to DIY builds - but I haven't done one since AGP was all the rage! I decided to go pre-built as I didn't mind paying a little over the odds for the guarantee that everything works out of the box. Time is money as they say. I compared several well-known PC builders and this ADMI one came out as the best value. Unlike the other builder sites though - details were sketchy about what the specific components were - hence writing this review. I don't know if the build is standard across the board but this is what I received@ - i5-14400F Raptor Lake Refresh - Retail - Intel stock cooler (LGA115x) - MSI PRO H610M-E DDR4 Micro ATX Motherboard. To my surprise there is a second NVMe slot on this board which I purchased a 2TB drive for. - ASUS DUAL GeForce RTX 4060 OC Edition 8Gb GDDR6. I have this driving 3 monitors daily - 2 x 1080p and 1 2560x1080@120hz (mainly) - and a 4th connection to a Samsung 4K TV. I use the 3 monitors most of the time and sometimes game on the TV. - 1TB NVMe drive - MSI M371 - 2 x 8GB DDR4 3200MHz. I can't remember the brand - I swapped these out for 2 x 32Gb. - 550W PSU. This is running fine with the current configuration - including an additional NVMe drive AND a 3TB old school HDD! - Infinity White Gaming case. I wasn't bothered about aesthetics really - but this thing is gorgeous! Cable management was extremely tidy with the build and there is space in the "lower section" for a couple of SATA drivers. - Windows 11 Home (upgraded to Pro so I could use Remote Desktop to access the PC) This thing flies for your daily activities. Personally for my development daily workload, I'm running Visual Studio 2022, a second Hyper-V Windows 11 VM, Ubuntu WSL (with RabbitMQ), IIS and SQL Server and this thing never breaks a sweat! Gaming with the 4060 is excellent. I'm generally keeping it at 1080p but outputting 4K to my TV can keep 60fps on "high-ish" settings on most games. I'm a simple man; a fan of fighting games and danmaku shmups so I'm hardly pushing it! Having said that Mortal Kombat One and Tekken 8 are quite heavy and they run great. I've been very impressed with this PC. It did feel like a little bit of a gamble ordering with not having the specific parts listed but it paid off. Highly recommended.

What do all these numbers mean?
I thought buying a prebuilt PC would be as easy as clicking the link my son had sent me and adding it to my basket. Sadly, when I'd finished checking that he'd in fact chosen a really good one for his combined birthday and Christmas money, it had sold out. Feeling guilty, I spent the best part of a day stumbling through the baffling world of prebuilt PCs to try and find something at least as good and avoid his epic disappointment on returning from school. The specs of these listings seem to change, but the one we bought has an 1150 Intel processor and a 6650XT AMD graphics card. Because I spent the day googling, I now know what these things and they're plenty to run pretty much everything at high settings on standard HD. After dunking myself through the Reddit sheepdip and a bunch of Youtube videos, it seems that prebuilt gaming PCs aren't very well thought of by the PC community. It's like buying a kit car that someone else makes for you, but you don't know well what parts they've used. However, it turns out that AWD-IT is a well-respected business in the computer community, and buying from Amazon, you probably can't go too far wrong if you run into trouble down the line. The risks of prebuilts are mismatched components, cheap parts and poor build quality. But none of these are evident in this machine. £650 was a good price for the headline specs, and we were excited to unbox it to find a gleaming box with a glass side and some snazzy-looking components within. Reassuringly, whoever built it looks like they took real care. There wasn't a single fingerprint or spec of dust and the cabling all looks neat and secure. I was concerned about overheating from some of the other reviews, but there's plenty of space in there, a mesh front and 3 fans, so I don't think it will be an issue. AWD even added some of the boxes of the parts they'd used and a checklist of all the checks and components. Nice. We got a little wifi dongle which was lousy until we put it in one of the USB sockets on the top, otherwise, everything is excellent and games run like you'd expect for the GPU and CPU. There are few things more disappointing than a gleaming new gaming PC that can't play games. So if you're a confused parent trying to eke every ounce of framerate from your kid's birthday money, it's worth knowing that the prices don't always relate to performance. Some listings have weaker processors and GPUs for more money. Why? Maybe the other parts they used are better quality - but this isn't obvious from the product descriptions and they won't help a weak GPU and slow processor run current games. So you'll need to hit the internet and check how the parts in your price bracket compare. After doing that, my son is more than delighted with his new gaming PC - and Dad got some karma points for finding specs that were even better than the ones he'd chosen himself, for the same money. Although we've barely seen him for the last week...

Poor delivery by company. Inconvient motherboard, and slightly inaccurate specifications.
This pc is a good bang for your buck computer if you are looking into getting involved with mid-range gaming and don't want the hassle of building a computer yourself. Pros: Quick boot up times. Very quiet, even when gaming. The adjustable RGB lighting is a nice touch. Very, very good gaming performances, able to hit well over 100FPS on Call of Duty: Warzone on Very High settings. Doesn't waste power (GPU fans only turn on when under intense activity) Able to handle mutliple applications being open at once. Case is very easy to take apart to make upgrades, and is also very sturdy and feels well-made, looks nice as well. Plenty of fans. Cons: PC came not installed properly. The RTX 2060 was not installed correctly, as it had not been placed in the PCIE express lane fully. Had to take the case off to put it in correctly. Also, bottom fan of the case had a piece of plastic that was stuck in between the blades, preventing it from spinning up. Was extremely difficult to remove. The Wifi adapter that comes with the PC is terrible, would recommend getting a different one. The motherboard is far too small for a PC of this specification. There is no NVME support, and the two SATA cables that are located to the right of the motherboard are inaccesible, as they are blocked off by the RTX 2060's size. RAM clock speed is slightly inaccurate, listed as 2400MHz on the advertisment, but CPU-Z clocked the speed of the memory at 2666MHz. Not the end of the world, considering it's actually faster than listed, but still a bit alarming that they don't get everything right.

Good performance, nice aesthetics, and good service from manufacturer
The computer runs about every modern release at high settings from its gaming components. Other functionalities that you would expect from a computer are also good. Easy to setup. Comes with a separate WIFI wireless adapter if you don’t have an Ethernet setup. Customer service from manufacturer: about a month after having the computer dispatched, a piece from the computer started malfunctioning. After just a few days of communicating with support, they sent a replacement piece with no extra charge: the PC got back and running without any issues.

Very annoying
The product was good, but after 3 weeks it wouldn't turn on. I tried everything they asked and it wouldn't work. The customer service was terrible as they only replied to 1 message per day and the return process or repair is extremely long and complicated. I had to print off and fill 3 different forms. It's really annoying that I spend money on their product and end up having to go through all of this.

Runs well
No issues with it after a year now, runs exactly how I’d expect it to with these specifications, can run every game I’ve tried to a high standard

superbly built system
Purchased it for a friend for his move into PC gaming from Xbox, for the price I struggled to build same quality around a 2060 for what these guys sell them for, best i could do was with a 1660ti for around same budget. Pluses All supporting documentation and support details in a portfolio. A nice touch. Pre-staged w10 and apps for benchmarking, hell even an instance setup for steam out of the box. Extra security apps preinstalled (e.g. bulldog, malware bytes) Very well packaged for shipment, (boxes airbags and cardboard) Was shipped with every part box extra cables/cable ties/motherboard standoffs bagged. All good branded components. (Asus, MSI, Fractal Design, Artic cooling) Well built system. Plate glass side panel and front. 140mm LED fans adjustable for good airflow for card/internals. Considerable cable management deployed in build. A cool RF remote for adjusting the 3 case fans including speed control, puts my razer L.E.D dev kit to shame tbh, a nice touch. 2060GTX fitted was a MSI Ventus XS OC model Fans at full speed are relatively quiet, as is GPU under full load. OFC they are no Silent wings level of quiet. Superbly priced, good value for money system. Negatives Board was one BIOS release behind current, with the intel Me mitigation fix being one of the bios fixes required, 5 minute task to update. Understandable however, due to date of bios release. Intel ME win patch missing subsequently. Asus AISuite not installed. (motherboard/fan adjustment in windows) Friend left skipping home to connect to a 2K HDR panel he has for his console. Machine is a superb 1080p/2k gaming box option, which will handle anything current @Ultra settings. Would (and will be) happily recommend AWD-IT to anyone looking for a good, well built reliable system and you can plainly see in the build quality AWD-IT really care about what they do.

Great PC
Delivery arrived as expected, no delay from Covid-19. Large box, sealed with the company tape and plenty of "bubble wrap" inside. As you can see, they also sent individual component boxes for everything inside the computer itself. Also included was an A4 folder with all the paperwork inside including the warranty. So far I've experimented with all the pretty lights & colours on the fan/s. Still trying to find a "favourite". The PC itself is very fast at boot up, around 30 seconds. The longest time I have spent waiting so far is waiting for Microsoft to do its Windows 10 updates which seemed to take a lifetime when all I wanted to do was play and try out the machine itself. Very quiet when running, looking on the internet, or watching movies on Itunes. The fans briefly made a louder than normal noise when playing The Division 2 (This PC runs it on high settings very easily) last night. By that, I could actually hear them over the gunfire but even then the fans were still "quiet". Overall, on day 1 of having the machine, very impressed. From the way it was packed, with all the ingredients through to this company selling exactly what thje advert showed. 5 stars.
