Great pirate waistcoat!
I had to reorder a larger size than usual for this to fit around the chest, so it's definitely cut for a slim build. I went with an XL instead of my usual Large (size 42-44 jacket) The material is very intricate and has a rich blood red color. metal buttons that actually work are sewn on securely (at least on mine!). I am using this for a Captain Barbossa-styled pirate outfit, and the cut and style of this waistcoat is the closest I could find to the Captain's on screen attire. It's very close, indeed! The return process could not have been easier, so buy with confidence that it will be made right if it doesn't fit the first time!

Follow Seller’s Size chart!
Beautiful item! For hubby’s Halloween costume. Sized extremely small and ideally should be a snug fit. Hubby is 5’10”, approx 240. Laid tshirt on table, measured. Per seller’s sizes, he’s a 3XL. Ordered. Yep, in this vest, he’s a 3XL and NOT his normal XL-2XL. The bottom 2 buttons are bulging from his lower belly. My advice to him: work out. Everything else fits perfectly.

Sizing is WAY off!!!!
Normally wear xl t-shirt, 2x for comfy work tshirts. Bought a 3xl in a different brand and was just barely too snug, but they didn't have a 4x so went with this one. Very snug and ended up not buttoning it. Could have used a 5 or 6 but didn't have time to reorder before I needed it.

Great, but runs extremely small
The material is great and the style is awesome. It looked really cool. Sadly the size was way off. I wear a size 2 xl shirt, I am 5 ft 11 inches 280 pounds. This didn't come anywhere close to being able to be buttoned. The 2x was like a size large that fits snug. Arm holes and back width were fine but the chest was off. Great product, just watch size.

Sizes are kinda random
The garment itself is fantastic. Very high quality and well made.However, going by the seller's size chart, I required a size XL, which is what I normally wear in other clothes. An XL fit just a bit too snug, considering I would be wearing two layers of shirts underneath. So I returned the XL and ordered the XXL. When I got the XXL, the I couldn't even get the buttons to meet. Granted, it could have been a mistake on the sizing, but it was marked as a XXL. At this point, I'm gun shy of buying the next size up from this seller because i don't know what I will get.

Measure yourself before you order.
I really like it, but I didn’t realize I gained more weight than I thought. 6 months ago it would have fit perfectly. Nice material and looks great. I can move the buttons so it isn’t tight, so no complaints!

Ordered well above my size but still too small.
The material is amazing. But be warned. This comes significantly smaller than your typical size when buying clothes. I may get it altered as I can definitely use it.

I thought a 3x would fit but it was too small. I wear 3xl in everything else.
It is a very, very nice waist coat it just didn't fit. My chest is too large even though all my other clothes fit perfectly with that size.
