When my hard sided carry on got a huge dent in one corner, I felt it was time for an upgrade to a name brand.Very satisfied with this choice. It fit everything I needed for a five day trip to Vegas, shoes, toiletries…all the things!I felt secure in selecting Samsonite as a well known, well traveled brand. Would buy again.

It works well. I feel it is pricey but I decided to purchase due to having a large Samsonite suitcase that has worked well for me. It was perfect to use as a carry-on. I can see myself possibly being able to use it for a shorter trip and not needing to check my large suitcase.

This is my first Samsonite suitcase. It lives fully up to the reputation I've heard. It's lightweight but really packs a ton if you roll up clothes in bundles and carefully arrange the placement of items. It has a lot of pockets, some of which are cleverly designed to be accessible from the outside without opening up the suitcase. It is also well balanced so that when I secure a backpack over the pull-up handle, the whole thing stands pretty well, does not tip over, and rolls around easily. The only complaint I have is that pockets equal zippers; it's very easy to confuse which zipper handles open which pocket. I wish they could be distinguished a little better by placement or maybe shape.Like another reviewer said, the dimensions are significantly bigger than how it's described in Amazon's product description. It's actually measured 23" (H) x 15" (W) x 10" (D) (including handles whenever applicable). I will deduct one star for false advertisement. However in actual experience I have been able to get away with carry-on dimensions slightly larger than what airlines specify. So far I've been able to carry this on 4 domestic American Airline flights with no issue passing gate agents and fitting into overhead compartments. They key is not to use the expansion capability and pack it to the max. So long as the luggage does not appear bulging to the gate agents, it should be fine to be carried on.

I have 1 other just like it…. But needed a second for the trip. Light weight and fits so much.

Item received did not match item description/specification, specifically dimensions and weight of the luggage. Item was shipped twice with the same result. Description: 5.7 lbs with height of 20.3 inches. Item shipped/received 5.9 lbs with height of 23.5".

What a wonderful suitcase. So lightweight and the wheels are amazing. I haven't gone on my trip yet so can't say how it will hold up but is very sturdy feeling and has loads of room

I can only review on size as this is being returned. The Amazon title description of 30 inch and the product description of 29 inch are both incorrect. The first thing I noticed upon pulling this out of the box was a tag stating this was 33 inches tall. Standing it next to our old 29 inch we could tell it was at least that. We need this for later in the year on a European airline and with their strict size limitations this will not work. What a pain having to return something this large. With such strict airline guidelines now you would think this information would be correct.
