I needed to add a graphic equalizer to my home theater setup because Covid altered my hearing dramatically. Although I used to hear reasonably well, after a bout with covid my hearing changed. I needed to boost frequencies at 4,000 Hertz in order to hear correctly. This equalizer does the job perfectly. Not only can I boost that specific frequency, but I can also add gain to the mid and sub lows as well. With a little bit of experimentation, you can tune the sound in several bands to match the acoustics of your room. Although not advertised, on the top of the unit there is access to four potentiometers. These allow you to adjust the gain of the two inputs separately so that if you switch from one to the other they match. The separate output for a subwoofer with its own level control is a definite plus. I like this unit very much, and ordered another for a different application. If you buy it, I think you will be well pleased. One important point. When connecting power, connect the negative supply to the (-) input terminal. Then, connect the positive supply to BOTH of the other two terminals. Otherwise, the unit will not power up.

This eq had great sound quality and value for the money. Easy functionality and install while delivering an amazing sound. Quality built and well worth the investment.

I purchased the ADL-EQ9 because it had features that I have been looking for in a multi-band equalizer. I received the unit and proceeded to connect it up but the noticed that the power connection diagram did not match the connection graphic on the unit. (see the attached photos). I assumed that the printing on the unit would be correct and hooked up the 12VDC power as shown on the unit. It did not work. No power to the unit at all. I tried the connection as shown on the one sheet "owner's manual" and the unit did not work with that configuration either. I assumed that the connection shown on the unit must have been incorrect and fried a component(s) in the unit. Also, the unit was very poorly built with the knobs being different lengths and many were mounted crookedly. I returned the unit and ordered a replacement with hopes that the paper diagram connections would work on the replacement unit. I received the replacement unit (the knobs were okay on this unit) and hooked it up as shown on the paper diagram and it also did not work! This is inexcusable! To have two different methods of wiring up the power is truly the sign of an incompetent company. Don't waste your time buying anything from Suacopzar!
