Perfect
Fed up with all bells and whistles phones and just wanted an easy to use good looking phone that works and this one looked like it would fit the bill. Received it next day after ordering and was impressed with it right out of the box. Shiny black case looks expensive and on flipping it open it hase nice big keys and you can see the letters for texting without putting your glasses on and a very clear screen. Camera picture quality isn`t that great at 1.3 mp but then it`s a phone, not a camera. Has the usual menu options and is very easy to navigate. Bluetooth works well and is easy to setup which you will need if your a ringtone freak as there isn`t that many to choose from installed on the phone but easy enough to add your own. Battery life seems good, lasted a week on the first charge but should inprove with a few more charges. Overall a very nice phone if you want a flip at a resonable price, recommended.

Is it what you think it is ?
This phone is easy to set up and use. It's a perfectly good phone for use in the UK. It can also be used in Europe, however, it does not work in the States - bit of a nuisance, as I thought it was a quad band. Amazon does not give enough technical information, so info had to be looked for on the Nokia site. When phoneless in Texas, I did discover that a phone card for $9 gets you loads of international minutes - probably far more economical than your own phone, and you don't have to walk around having to find a good place for a signal !! How about providing some relevant technical information for the products you sell, Amazon?

Nice phone
I was so disappointed in this phone. It was just what I was looking for my husband who is struggling with an iPhone due to illness. I tried every which way to fit the sim but it was having none of it. I tried nano sim and micro sim but there was just nowhere to slot it in and the phone kept saying no sim inserted. The diagram on the box was not at all helpful and the only video on utube was completely different on the inside to the phone I was holding in my hand. After trying all afternoon and also my son trying we gave up. It is now winging its way back to the Amazon. What a pity I had high hopes after reading reviews. Would be interested to know if anyone else has the same problem or could tell me where we went wrong.

Unreliable piece of junk
Superficially a nice looking phone with simple menus, a clear display and nice big keys. It's later the downside starts becoming apparent. It is ridiculously hard to open in a hurry and the ring time is too short, meaning you never get to answer your calls with the phone in your pocket unless you are a wild west gunfighter or you switch your voicemail off. I normally love clamshell phones, but this one is a real ergonomic nightmare. I could live with the niggles but the real showstopper is that the phone is just unreliable. The first one I bought new from Amazon; it was only 8 months old and just switched itself off - never dropped or banged; it just wouldn't power up. (By the way, Amazon aren't interested in warranty claims - you have to deal direct with Nokia.) They tried to say it wasn't covered under the warranty but replaced it anyway. 3 months later the replacement has started losing lines on the external display, so its back to Nokia for another try at getting it fixed. If you are thinking about getting this one, don't bother - Nokia have made some good phones but this isn't one of them!

Brilliant phone for humans [non - geeks]
This phone has been around for nearly two years, so one might assume it is pretty useless these days, BUT, if it's a simple phone you want, but with all the main features (GPRS, Email, Internet, SMS Text, MMS picture,Bluetooth, etc), it is absolutely brilliant. Yes, it is definitely short on storage, so no good if you want to store lots of images and music files, but for ease of use, sensible size keys, very good reception,it is excellent.Screen size is not that big, so I would say Internet use will be limited. The build quality seems very good as well. I have installed with a Vodafone "Pay as you GO" SIM card and it worked first time. The Bluetooth connection worked fine with my Vista PC, so the lack of USB port doesn't matter too much. I looked for a more modern equivalent but could not find anything similar, either too simple or way too smart. My wife loves it and thinks it looks really COOL!

Nokia flip
On first acquaintance this is a super little phone if you want some add ons but not one that makes the coffee too. Took ages to research and decide on my new phone. Just want to be able to text, phone and e-mail and prefer a flip for convenience and to protect screen / keyboard. This is a smart looking phone and the back display is very handy. It is compact but still has a good sized and clear keyboard and excellent screen display. It takes photos and videos and has a radio and Bluetooth connectivity + headset included. Not sure why you want all this in a phone but they work fine if you do. It's going to take a bit of use to find my way around the menues, different ways of texting and e-mailing etc but the manual is reasonable and the on-screen instructions pretty clear. Battery life excellent as everyone says in reviews. Early days but am very pleased it is even better than hoped and excellent value. One word of warning though - DO NOT use Iconic Phones they are an absolute scam; had not delivered in two weeks, never respond to e-mails and refused to cancel the order and Amazon unable to do anything to help resolve. Ended up filing a claim. Another Market place company were selling at a lower price and offered to deliver in less than 5 days. They delivered in 2 and phone is pristine

Standby time more like 28 hours, not cited 28 days. Typo?!
Bought one, ran out of charge in about 24 hours, returned. Thought it might be a dud one. Bought a second, charged it for 24 hours before using it. It still runs down within 48 hours. It's for a technophobe who hardly uses it so would expect it to sit in standby for days. Product spec says it lasts for 28 days on standby. I think there is a typo and it should say 28 hours instead! Technophobe is tolerating it so I'm saving myself hassle by just leaving it.

It more or less works, with a few annoyances
This handset is simple and easy to use - it's a no fuss, back to basics type of phone. I'm only interested in using it for receiving and making calls and receiving and writing texts. It performs these tasks more or less quite well, as it should. The battery life is quite poor, but as it is an older, used model, I partly expected this, and don't mind having to charge it overnight every second night or so. Sometimes, when it is left unattended for a while, I go to use it and realise it has switched itself off - this is annoying, and could be very problematic for someone who needed to be contactable by phone all of the time. Even more annoying, the phone decides to cut out when I'm in the middle of writing texts. This is extremely annoying, as a draft of the message does not get saved and I have to begin again. It simply jams, so I can tell that I cannot save or send the message, and the phone is about to go blank, the screen then goes black, and is followed by a white screen that comes up for just a moment once or twice, before either the phone comes back to life, or it switches itself off entirely. This happens even when the battery life is at two or three bars - which is usually plenty to last several more hours, if not an entire day. I have not yet made enough/long enough calls to determine whether this is going to be a problem when I'm calling people. If it does, I will be sorely disappointed with the handset, as it will not only be frustrating for me but for the person trying to talk to me. So, the phone more or less performs the basic functions it is expected to, and I don't think I'll send it back, but it has an annoying malfunction resulting in several failed attempts to send a text and a frustrated phone user!
