Best Naturals is my go to company for supplements because I have a corn allergy and nearly everything they carry is corn free… I don’t have to worry about having a reaction. I got these because they are purported to have health benefits. They are easy to swallow and have no odor. I will buy these again.

The bottle is clearly marked with recommended intake amounts and directions for use. Everything is clearly stated and easy to read. There is an included lot number and expiration date as well. The product has a bit of an odor but nothing that I would call offensive and the capsules are a little smaller than a standard sized vitamin supplement is. So very easy to swallow. When swallowing I didn't notice any sort of aftertaste.The bottle says that the product is 3rd part lab tested but after going to their website I could not see the results of this testing anywhere. They did have some information on the testing process but no results and after 15 minutes of searching I gave up, assuming you would have to contact customer service to see the actual testing reports. They also state on the website that the materials are sourced from the US and abroad but this is the most information that is given and it is fairly vague in my honest opinion.Overall the supplement is a good value when compared with it's competitors and seems to be a quality product based on the labeling and statements. However I would like to see easier access to third party testing result claims.

This bottle of Best Naturals Wormwood Extract is the second brand of wormwood capsules that I have ordered and received. Because of that I will be comparing them to the first bottle.Although wormwood has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years, I am somewhat new to the idea of using it as a supplement.One of the reasons that I decided to include wormwood in my list of supplements is that the human palate is designed to taste bitter foods. Supposedly eating bitter foods can help with digestion. Another reason that I decided to include a wormwood supplement in my routine is that extracts of artemisia annua, the sweet wormwood plant, are used to treat malaria. I love a supplement that does double duty!I do not live in or travel to areas that are prone to malaria, however, the mechanism by which the substances in wormwood eliminate malaria parasites might possibly have the same affect on other human parasites and as well as on bodily invaders like viruses. If that is true then that is very interesting to me. This idea is why I am willing to experiment on myself by supplementing with wormwood capsules like these.I am not a doctor but I have done online research. My online research has taught me that taking wormwood can be hard on the liver. For this reason pregnant women, people with anemia or liver disease, and people who inherited a genetic condition that causes the cells in their body to hold onto iron should not take wormwood unless supervised by a physician!It is thought that various human parasites and other bodily invaders love to hoard iron in their cells. Wormwood, or extracts of artemisia annua, works to cleave those iron hoarding cells in half, rendering them unable to complete their mission of taking over the body. I think that there's a lot of iron in the cells of the liver which explains the need to take three days off and let the liver heal after consuming wormwood.Compared to the other brand of wormwood capsules that I ordered, these new Best Natural capsules seemed at first to be made of a stronger concentration of wormwood. The front label says 1500 mg "equivalent". The other brand says 450 mg on the front label. When I turn the bottle around these new Best Natural capsules say that one capsule contains only 375 mg of it, so my first impression was wrong. These new capsules actually contain less wormwood than the other brand.I must say how much I don't like it when a supplement labels their bottle with 2 different measurements, one on the front and the other on the back. I don't know why they do this but I'm pretty sure that I've seen it at least once before. While it doesn't reflect my rating of the supplement inside the bottle I will always deduct one star from my review if the label has confusing measurements.As an American living in the USA I am always happy to see that a supplement says Made in the USA on the label as these wormwood capsules do. These capsules do not expire until 07/27 so I also like that they are nice and fresh.My research suggests using 500 mg or less of wormwood for 4 days and then not taking it for three days to allow the liver to recover. Taking 4 capsules a week means that this bottle of Best Naturals Wormwood Extract Capsules will last me for about 7 months.Although I'm a bit disappointed that these capsules contain a weaker concentration of wormwood than the previous brand I ordered, I think I can accept that due to these Best Natural Wormwood Extract Capsules being such an excellent value.Four stars!
